It is only a 1396cc D14a8 engine. Absolutely default. I have done an ecu swap from a D16z6. I was a serious wiring work... So I chipped it, tuned it, and use it on LOW boost. The car put 142 whp @ 0,6 bar. On the street i used only at lower boost values.
have you just put a turbo on a standard engine where have you connected the oil feed pipe for the turbo and the return. sounds very interesting i would of thought you need to change pistons rods an all that crap
The compression of that stock engine is allready on the low side , 9.1 :1 to be exact. Some aftermarket turbo pistons give you 9.0 :1 compression so it aint bad to start with. ;-)
So you made around 160hp at the crank right?Did you ever have any problems with the rods or something?I'm trying to figure out what the stock rods can handle (safe).I was hoping 160 hp to the crank.
It has 170Hp on the crank, I heard that, this stock engine can handle 180-200Hp. I never wanted to try it, because i now two other D14 civics and thay are blown...
My friend do you remember your torque on 0.6?
You used z6 head?
Thx

Where do u get this turbo from and can u literally bolt it straight on?
simpson3100 2 years ago
It's a K03 turbo from audi (or seat leon) 1.8 T.
The heater was made for this setup. So If u can weld (or know a man who can do it for U) this isn't a difficult job to built it.

I have the same honda with the same engine, and i like yours very much. How many hp does it have?
SKYLINE5555 4 years ago
With the stock D14 engine on boost (0,6 Bar) it made 142 Whp. But it coud be better.
I didn't want to hurt the engine, so i built a stronger D16...
