i've just  used card 05 on skyline and it made the car go faster. i mean i dont think they're only just for those models.

@CosteTR they do work on other cars just that is not 100% benefit. you get the most power from the cards if you use it with the correct engine + tuner.

they're completely different games, but for me the PS3 version is superior in graphics, gameplay and even has 4 player online versus battles too with health bar.

@aZnxNoODles Well, that's what happens in the western region version of MT. For some reason only porsche rights were bought for the japanese version. To this day you can still get the gemballa in japan, but not anywhere else :(

Is this game easy to navigate?? I don't really speak/read japanese so I was wondering if there were english parts or a manual so I could play this. Also isn't tokyo extreme racer basically the same as this...though it was never this clean.

yah it's pretty easy to navigate the menus and stuff. the only thing that was hard was the tuning cards. but I translated all the cards and posted them on these video descriptions so it's no problem now.

the maps look same as tokyo extreme because it's based on the japanese fwy system so of course it has to be identical with same routes etc...

as for the gameplay it's definitely not the same and you will see once you try it.
