I remember this awesome colors. Had a WTF moment when I woke up all groggy. Storm hit the stadium area around 5:30am and the sky was clear and blue by 6am. Made tea and coffee then went to the Capital Ex Parade.
That morning I was driving on the QE2 heading North , there was some clouds moving fast and low above and around me maybe 50 feet in the air it was trippy , some clouds were colliding as I drove past and it reminded me of waves crashing into each other!

Wow!!! Great video of this AM's alarm clock... It was stunning beauty complete with thunderous surround sound!!! We had the perfect pic directly outside our window, but could not grab the camera in time. Love your video!

I was further North East. I've been all over the world and never have I seen light like this morning's. The air was thick with a mango-tangerine fog. The wavelength caused anything yellow or red to kind of glow. It was amazing just for that, but then add the lightning, and then the abrupt shift to darkness and a hard thunderstorm.... absolutely the most spectacular morning I have ever witnessed.
I was awakened by this shortly before 7am. The whole house had a yellow tinge in it. Scary when you're not expecting it!
