Richard is correct when he said losing weight for money is not helping because you gain it right back after you get your money. Remember a few years back Howard Stern had a fattest worker contest and it was between Artie, Benjy, Jason, Scott the engineer. The premise was the one who loses the most weight gets $10,000 after like 2 months. Then Benjy won. About 3 months later was the weigh in to see if the guys kept losing weight. But all of them gained every pound back.

10 minutes into the interview when he's talking about the dude hitting him with the bat, Howard asked him about that back in 2007 on the phone. Therapy Howard, no Artie, just acting too normal. So far this doesn't sound like a classic Richard Simmons interview.
