@ShiroKuroZantetsuken Thats just where amon and doubleclick met and started making music together to form two fingers. lots of other good artists come from brighton as well. Some of my favorite drum and bass artists hail from germany too. quality is better overseas (for electronic music)

@ShiroKuroZantetsuken Well you should definitely check out Amon Tobin if you're into Two Fingers. If you havnt heard Aphex Twin you need to hear him just to know that it exists. Venetian Snares is one of my favorites, sorta hard to listen to at first but I would recommend the album "Detrimentalist" for first timers. Noisia is great. Kid Koala. Dj Shadow, Boxcutter for some dub. Tipsy for some cross genre. Vibesquad or Bassnectar for some dubstep. Hope this sparks some interests!

you could call it intelligent hip hop, but its not so good on the tongue

you go to moth rythmn and the name makes much more sense

also if you go to fool's rythmn youll hear the other influence which is kinda dubsteppish (both tunes by two fingers)

but really youll hear basses like that all the way back to 1994 with autechre

pretty much everything from "crying over pros for no reason" sums up what you missed

then you add in synths which everybody mistakes to be from dubstep but autechre (just as an example) has been using for practically forever

but in retrospect, it has nothing really to do with hip hop, idm has pretty much always had a broken beat

but for some reason neither listeners of hip hop or idm will accept it as theirs, thus dub confusion

but idm is pretty much everything so
