  • Mia has with Idiopathic Chylothorax. It's fluid in the chest cavity with no known cause. She had chest x-rays where her lungs weren't visible and many subsequent tests. They drained the fluid from her chest and she's been on Rutin 500mg 2x day (it's a supplement that GNC carries). This is the only known therapy short of a major surgery. Even with the surgery, there is no guarantee of cure. She still requires occasional draining of the fluid. At best we are trying to stalemate the progress.

  • thats so sad, my manfred breathes the same way with no known cause.. Xrays revealed nothing aswell as his blood tests. He has cost me well over thousands of dollars in vet bills, we thought it might be his heart but the blood test confirmed nothing. I love my cat so much, he was an spca rescue and in the two years i've had him his health continues to be an issue.... he'll be lucky to make it to ten. he was 5 1/2 when I got him, hes now about 8.. and vets don't know what is wrong aside from
