  • fu-ck heroin this is my craps shooting song man

  • One of the best guitar riffs ever! Brian was really into this one too I love it!

  • I read that the guitar riff used in Beavis and Butthead at the end of each episode is from this song, but I'm not hearing it.

  • whah!!

    how can u dislike this?

    fucking beeber)

  • Bon Scott was a lot better than this clown

  • @rudemood2011 Without Brian following in Bon's foot steps, may he rest in peace, we would have no AC/DC... would you rather have nothing at all??

  • I do not understand why are you bitching about the dislikes when the dislike bar isn't even visible ... and by the way you are here to listen to AC/DC and eventually look at the video and not at the dislike bar and the number of dislikes! And nobody is interested in your age ... good music has no age limit!

    Rock On! \m/ \m/

  • the best

  • Mindblowing.

  • @chambsuper90 No shit he did lol but it is still good though.

  • i hate when brian johnson covers the bon scott material. it just doesn't sound right

  • I mean...well...they just are the best aren't they....?

  • It's taken me 22 years to decide what my favourite song ever is (not an easy question when asked) but i've decided that this is it, And this happens to be the best live version of it. Therefore this is the best video on Youtube.........

  • Kick Ass!!!!!!!

  • this rocks...a lot of their live stuff (in my opinion) is played too fast; adrenaline I guess...but this is played just right and keeps the swinging tempo of the studio version. these vh-1 performances are some of my favorite ac/dc vids.

  • wasn't this on beavis and butthead or something like that?

  • @MrTrapper17 you right man, thats why I really got into this song!.. :)

  • great song !! one of my favs from them ......

  • GOOD JOB BRIAN!! BUT BON STILL BETTER IN THIS SONG!

  • Has anything driven a rock n' roll band more than Malcolm's right hand?

  • Here's another Bon Scott original that Brian really does let's it out ! I wish he would do it in a concert.

  • there is a deep pathos in the song....oh boy its the underlying blues scale

  • i played bass for 21 years.......done alot of acdc fuckin love it

  • 0:13 okay this song just got alot better

  • Malcolm Young is by far my favourite rhythm guitarist. Solid as a ROCK.

  • @instinctfx hard as a rock that is...... hehe

  • this song is about a drug addict girl bon loved right?

  • 3.12 supposed to be the key change to c#....anyone else notice this, tucked it back in like the pros they are tho :P

  • 5 dislikes,yes thats about rite 5 people i dislike..forever AC/DC

  • Brian covering a Bon era song. I've never seen this song covered, but it's awesome!

  • the groove!! listen to that groove!! malcolm, phill, cliff are groove machines!! you cant emulate that! they are cooking!!

  • This song remembers me a lot the Beavis and Butthead show on the 90's ... it sounds great for me, a great rock and roll band.

  • Brian Brian Brian.....Please stop killing Bon's songs fffs! This is Bon's song about him and his girlfriend. It's a personal song to Bon and Brian should just fuck off and keep to his stuff. Seriously.

  • @Syze1 So what? You never want to hear a live performance of TNT, Highway to Hell, Dirty Deeds, Jailbreak, to name a few.

  • @Stain92able - Don't get me wrong fella. I do want to hear these songs live but Gone Shootin' is so personal to Bon (read up about what it's about) and Powerage is such an underrated album that it should remain a song for those of us that love Bon and really really get Powerage.

I also hate to hear Brian sing Rosie. It's another song that is part of Bon's life story and should remain his and his alone.

  • @Syze1 Yeah thats fair enough, i just think it would be more of a sucker punch to Bon if they didn't play his songs live. I was born over 20 years to late to see Bon perform but from the videos I've seen he's was an excellent and charismatic front man. Also its mostly Bons songs that really are the dogs bollocks in the live show.

  • @Syze1 Brian performs this amazingly here, much better then bon, id replace the original version of gone shootin from my ipod with this one

  • @SmithyGaming

Usually I accept the opinion of others. On this occasion I can't accept that. Brian CAN NOT do justice to most of Bon's songs. It's that simple. However, if you really feel Brian does this better then I feel a bot sorry for you :)

  • @Syze1 i really do! bon was an amazing performer, but some of the things he wore were a bit flashy and i hate to say it, but a bit camp, i think brian suits ACDC more!

  • @SmithyGaming

Hardly think jeans and a denim cut-off were a bit flashy. Camp maybe but 100% man and as previously stated most of AC/DC's killer songs are penned by Bon. Rock in Peace Bon. You're a God.

  • this is one of the best rock n roll songs ever. unbelievably relaxing song ! I listen to ACDC for quite a long time, about 2 years. Just now I found this song. I guess we always come back to their discography and discover something more. :X Totally love it.

  • who the hell dislikes this.Loosers.

  • 5 dislikes?

Must be on crack or cheap glue to not like this....

  • I never get tired watching this }:D

  • Sometimes I just lay in bed and listen to this song on full volume. I still can't understand why they are so awesome. no other musician will ever come close to having half the talent that these guys have. It's been my favorite band since I was 6 and that will never change. They inspire the shit out of me. AC/DC will never die.

  • This is My favourite song of all time, Its taken me 20 yrs to find it, but its easily "gone shootin" by AC/DC. This is my Favourite version of it. Therefore my favourite video on Youtube. Nothing comes close to this band.

  • Jasus - chill's - hair's on the back of my neck - fuckin great

  • wow, listen everyone to the legends

  • As a whole, not a real AC/DC fan. But THIS is a COOL tune!!

  • Angus inspired me to pick up the guitar I love these guys

  • shut up beavis acdc is better then metallica

  • I listen to this when I feel sad ... I never feel better than but that fucking riff is so amazing :) gotta love AcDc

  • I would be surpised if they had ever done this song with Brian, and even after all of these years, look how tight it is. And listen to Malcoms guitar growl at :14. Same with "Riff Raff." I dont think that they had ever done that with Brian either. But still, very tight and right on the money!

  • This is absolutely fuckin phenominal. What a band. Unbeatable. Spine tingles. Is this normal?? lol

  • superb...... still good as the day i first heard em.... 1978

  • Phil Rudd is here the master.. he makes the groove and blues style. His style seems so easy, but then you aren`t listen good..

  • Phil Rudd is here the master.. he makes the groove en bluesy style. His style seems so easy, but then you aren`t listen good..

Listen also to " up to my neck in you "live at the waldorf and you know why Phil is MISTER Rudd

  • Phil Rudd is here the master.. he makes the groove en bluesy style. His style seems so easy, but then you arent listen good...

  • Maaaan, this is rock n roll :) These guys are the reason i picked up a guitar.

  • @DuboisAugustin my reason too mate

  • @DuboisAugustin same here =]

  • @DuboisAugustin Same reason why I got Guitar Hero and my own guitar too.

A BIT OF ADVICE...LEARNING GUITAR IS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS AND THINK.

  • @DuboisAugustin: Awesome, I picked up a guitar for them too.

  • @DuboisAugustin Same reason I have a guitar and Guitar Hero also got me there, yet I can't play much yet.

  • @ shadowlake17 yeah I know I was referring to Angus's solo work.

  • beavis and butthead!

  • So someone on YouTube was telling me that Phil Rudd sucks, he only knows one beat, and Chris Slade blows him away. Huh?!?! Some people are just idiots I guess....

  • I like the original better, but this is great too lml

  • acdc for ever

  • If only there's an award for best KICKASS, BADASS ROCK,

  • Fantastic blues/rock song performed by the best heavy rock n roll band ever. Great to see these rare small venue/studio versions too, looks like they were having a ball.

  • I love that brian sing this with is own style ! but bons is better in this song hah

  • MMMM BRIAN JOHNSON IS YUMMY 2 WATCH :D!

  • AC/DC = the hardest rocking band ever.

  • you gotta love that f***in guitar riff!!!

  • where would we be with out acdc?

  • AC/DC will never die

  • From what I read, the band was only supposed to play 4 songs at this VH1 deal, but they ended up playing 12 cos they were having such a good time, which you can see for sure!

  • listen to this fucking Phil Rudd, hes the fucking greatest drummer in the world, bloody hell when he starts in im getting goose bumps every fucking time i watch it! glad they got him back in 1995... Phil rules. Angus does, Brian does, Malcolm and Cliff do. AC/DC rules! AC/DC forever!!!!!

  • @ballbreaker311 I agree. Quite possibly the greateast drummer ever. Just seeing him come in at :25 gives me chills. Being a drummer myself, I have always modeled my playing after Phil's,

  • @resqfireman How is he the best drummer?????? You need to look up keith moon or john bonham for god sake!!!!!!!!

  • @LittleAngus1 I agree that John Bonham was great as well, but Keith Moon was more of a swing style drummer, which did work within The Who's music, but I am not a fan ot his. Charlie Watts and Phil Rudd, those guys you could set your watch to. Trust me, again as a drummer myself, Phil IS that good!

  • @resqfireman don't listen to these clowns. I love Bonzo and I love the Loon, but they are great with their respective bands. It's hard to quantify drummers because they all do it a different way. You'll notice that Phil has toned down his style since the 70s. Some of AC/DC's early tracks had him playing Bonzo-esque fills. Brad Wilk, Robbie Bachman and Bill Berry are some good cats too.

  • @resqfireman Couldn't agree more. I love the way Phil locks himself into the groove of a song. Great drumming isn't all about doing crazy fills all over the place.

  • @haggisman1971

I hear people say, Slade is a better drummer then Phil... unbelievable. We know better !!

  • @mrtaatjen I think that Chris Slade is a better TECHNICAL drummer than Rudd, but we know which one belongs behind the kit in this band. Even Angus said that "Slade was the best musician in AC/DC" whih I dont think was a slame on Slade, but more of a fact that being technical isnt always better.

  • @resqfireman

Hey man, i am agree with you. Music is not how many fills or Technicall skils.. it is more about the grooves and how it fits with the music. And therefore i prefere Phil Rudd = ac dc !

  • Look at Angus's face It looks so FUCKING NICE!!! I love it XD

  • Malcom and Angus are gifted riff writers

  • Best blues guitar riff ever!!

  • THE best RIFts from this LegendarY band, soooo sad they didn't played them at the 2 shows I went to... AC/DC are so fre***in great !! AHHHhh what an immense EScape in my Head & Body, groovin, sweatin it WAS, both times =D

  • My favourite song of all time. It looks like they jammed most of it haha. It's still perfect, solid at the bottom, riffin' and groovin at the top with a couple of the best frontmen on Earth. "she never made it past the bedroom door, what was she aimin' for!?"

  • @rj454chevy no

  • Wow...Malcolm is so cool when he sings:Gone shootin'!!!!!!!

  • i love it when Phil starts in with the drums, the best AC/DC line-up ever and they should leave it that way... Malcolm's powerful iron-rough-hard-sounding guitar, Angus' powerful riffs and godlike blues style together with long-time member Cliff's bass perfectly fitting, Phil's bluesy hard drum rhythm and Brian's bluesy rough voice... simple but awesome for me the greatest band in the world...

  • If ya dont like the way Brian sings the song, easy fuck off and look at bon on the other vid

  • como amo a acdc por dios santo, son el rocanrol puro, larga vida a acdc.

  • I just remember watching Beavis and Butthead Do America and this song being on there.

  • @fish0769 im watching it right now! bloody good movie and song!

  • im sorry but ummm brian johnson ruined the song for me so thanks brian.

im not trying to offend anyone sorry for my opinons

  • @Traydon3211 Um I a huge Bon fan but brian does a killer job

  • @Traydon3211 fuck u ya bitch brian is way better ever since he came into the band peeple realy start likein then bon was good but brian is better

  • I want Angus' guitar tone!!!! Holy shit does it sound fucking awesome.

  • @johnnycoolguy9554 depends on the amp i have, i have a small marshal amp but its pretty powerful and i get Angus's tone quality, just lower the bass and middle to around 4-6 and keep the treble at like 5-7 and raise the distortion on the amp/pedal and for the into use the rhythm pick up and for the whole rest of the song, the treble one, hope that helps thanks to solodallas's vid on Angus's sound... enjoy and gl with future playing

  • jesus is a living man

  • I love this song. I love AC/DC but my dad can't stand the over agressiveness of it but he likes bands like the rolling stones, the who and the beatles. But he actually likes this song.

  • This version has nothing on the original, this song is one that only Bon should sing i Guess

  • I love them so much

  • IN my opinion Brian is a better singer Bon had a better voice enouph said

  • that's true, if you realize Bon was first a driver, and after he heared AC/DC were looking for a new singer, he just joined =]

  • @lem1968a1 i agree 100% me and my uncle get into fights over who is better lol

  • that riff is like omg :-D but i like this song more with bon ... anyway it doesnt sound bad :-) different bud good

  • Saw them a few months ago.

It was one of the most exciting experiences of my life.

  • Killer riffs.

    God, I love this band.

  • that gibson sg is BEAUTIFUL

  • It sounds awesome!

  • le meilleur groupe de rock au monde, angus, malcolm, phill, cliff, brian, bon

je vous aime, toujours fan pour toujours

le rock est eternel...et surout avec votre musique

  • Love Bon singing this, but it suits Brian's voice too. Great track.

  • thats angus's best gibson sg

  • Incredible, timeless classic, incredible guitars, and drums.

  • This is probably Brian Johnson's best interpretation of one of Bon Scott's songs. Great Stuff.

  • AC/DC's funkiest riff

  • i still prefer bon singing this song.

  • My favourite !!

  • 7 of the 8 children of the young family (obviously including malcolm and angus) immigrated to Australia, They're Scottish. But technically you can call them aussies, because that is their home pretty much.

  • mate or laddie whatever acdc is the fucking shit

  • Great!

  • Malcom is smoother than a mofo

  • @tanuki

see dog eat dog live in Madrid, another great Bon-Brian transition, also high voltage in Donnington

  • Legends and this is why =)

  • Se que no es una cancioon de Brian Johnson sino de Bon Scott. Pero se nota que la tocan con todo respeto a la leyenda de Scott.

  • some of Bon's songs Brian doesnt sound so great...... an extremely difficult set of shoes to fill... but he sounds fucking great here...

  • @wolfatnight i agree. Jailbreak from donnington kinda sucked for me being almost 20 min and Brian was mumbling and his voice was all...........what should i say......eroded away. So yeah i think that this is probably one of the only songs that Brian and Bon sounds great.

  • One of there best songs AC/DC kick ass.

  • GREATNESS!! GODS!!

  • This song alone makes ACDC one of the all-time greatest bands. A song true fans know and love.

  • fuckin great song, fuckin great band, need i say more!

  • i just love their style, my favourite band!!

  • Uhhh yeah i love AC/DC and this version of Gone shootin' is so cool...Bon Scott is a legend so is Brian Johnson!!!!!!!

  • Great band

  • the boys probably thought, "fuck chap, its been a bloody while hasn't it?!?!"

  • there not british .. there aussies and aussies dont neccesarily speak like that .. they say MATE .. but they probably did think that but not in that way

  • their not aussies either laddie their scottish immigrants from australia mate

  • Rock the fuck on!!
