I love these videos of them interacting! My 11 year old Iguana used to get so stressed out by my mom's poodle. That poodle would just run up to her and start licking her cheeks and generally annoying her until she finally couldn't take it anymore and bit her paw!! I wasn't there at the time, but my sister told me the poodle made the weirdest sound, like she was screaming! I looked at the bite, and it was nothing, just 5 dots. They're cool now, the poodle doesn't lick and the iguana doesn't bite!
@andystone1981 We used to have a big iguana. My cat found ways into the Iguanas cage and they used to lay under the heat lamp for hours! Our Iguana was welcome to just exit her cage and chill in the house somehwere, she'd never get lost because she was with the cat! The Iguanna used to climp up onto mymoms shoulders and taught the cat to do the same. They were totally cool with eachother, ya just gotta watch them, silly! (:

@benxsolace Beardie's do carry salmonella, although it's highly unlikely to be spread you should still wash your hands after handling them. However what I would be more worried about is those sharp kitten claws damaging the poor beardies scales, and it getting some sort of infection. Considering where kitty paws go.

@MeerKat186 let a cat actually bite you and you'll find out, Mostly they use their claws. Then again, my grandfather developed Senile Dymensia and eventually died due to a bacterial infection from his cat biting him. For the most part, our immune systems are strong enough to reject that, but should a cat bite you rather than scratch, i suggest ya get it checked out. Beardies are spiked and tough skinned though... i'd be surprised if a house cat could actually get through its hide.

@MeerKat186 let a cat actually bite you and you'll find out, Mostly they use their claws. Then again, my grandfather developed Senile Dymensia and eventually died due to a bacterial infection from his cat biting him. For the most part, our immune systems are strong enough to reject that, but should a cat bite you rather than scratch, i suggest ya get it checked out. Beardies are spiked and tough skinned though... i'd be surprised if a house cat could actually get through its hide.

@MisterMavrick Uhm, my granparents bred cats awhile ago, and they would bite me my mom and grandma, and they're still alive. Also my cat has bitten me alot, and I'm still alive. So, i kind of call bullshit.. Also if it was true, wouldn't the vet warn cat owners not to let cats bite them and stuff?

@MeerKat186 Congratulate yourself on a superior immune system. Not everyone is so lucky. Look it up on wikipedia before you point the finger at someone who may have learned the hard way... cats and kimodo dragons have one things in common: while they may bite their prey and not kill it on the spot... it will die shortly after. I know that my grandfather died... senile dimensia didn't just set in suddenly for no reason. The internet gives a lot of dumb people a lot of big mouths.

@MisterMavrick I did happen to look up this senile dimensia disease, and nothing came up. Senile dementia came up, but that's a brain disorder, so obviously you're grandpa did not die of a fucking cat bite. Seriously, if there was a threat of a cat bite killing people, it would be a more popular subject. Like, I said my grandmothers cats bit her, and my mom, and oh look they're still alive 23 years later. Don't call me dumb, because YOU'RE the one saying cat bites kill people.

If the cat was bothering the bearded dragon it would have let it know lol, it would have turned jet black, puffed it's beard and hissed. Didn't really seem to mind much.
