Other then not being able to upgrade Macs hardware, Its the best I've ever used. I love never worrying about viruses or its protection! I have also found Apple to be the most desired brand. It works well for me. But of course if your looking to hack, send viruses and do illegal stuff then "Windows" makes it effortless...

Honestly the reason I got a Mac to begin with was simply because I was sick and tired of "Trojan" this and "Malware" that!!! Antivirus slowed the computer down.

Well, I don't really know if "coolness" matters in the functionality of a computer... Functionality wise, the two brands are literally the same. I simply chose the more affordable option: PC. That said, Macs are a hell of a lot of fun.

I use Vegas on my PC and it fucking OWNS iMovie which I have used before on my MAC book. Of course the fact that on a PC you can use any third party software to do things just like on a MAC was left out because these commercials are not accurate at all. Seems like a case of size envy to me. Apple is butt hurt because PC has a bigger trouser snake(90% of the market).

I have used iMovie, Final Cut and Avid. I prefer Vegas over all of those. It's faster and has a lot more features. Avid is very powerful but way too expensive(for my home setup) and iMovie sucked IMO. Final Cut is cool but its kinda pricey as well.

I have 2 PC's and 1 Mac Pro. Just bought the Sony Vaio last month with Vista Premium. Don't mind the operating system but, hate the crap ware...didn't think the Mac was worth double the price.

Windows is a great operating system unless you know nothing about computers. I haven't EVER seen the blue screen of death on my latest build because I know how to run my operating system. Unfortunately it seems like 99% of PC users are newbs when it comes to computing. So ya they fuck things up. But if know whats up Windows works great. Especially for audio/video production.
