I used to be an Estee Lauder beauty advisor and I have used this as my concealer for YEARS! Also, I used to have customers--male and female--come by my counter to use it to cover tattoos for their jobs, etc. They were amazed that it could cover a tattoo!

did you know they have this item readily available now they just repackaged it! and it's a little more expensive but i believe the name is double wear maximum coverage.. i personally liked the last packaging and pricing haha but beggars can't be choosers!

hi) I was really excited about this concealer, I have dark circles and I had hopes that this is it, this would help, so I bought it+primer clarins and I have to say it didn't cover my dark blue circles, actually it made it worse, though the color is ok, it just didn't cover , when I put under my eyes a lot of layers of this foundation it got better, but then it got cakey and completely settle into the fine lines. pity...still searching for my HG...

@viyavictoria if y our circles are really blue- you should try a pink like benefit eye bright under any concealer- I hope that helps!

BTW. the concealers I have tried : La prairie , EL double wear, Bobbi Brown (+corrector, it was kinda pink), Dior, YSL, Laura Mercier.. all didn't work((( and if it covers well it certainly get cakey.

I am really glad you compared both the creamy tan and vanilla colors--I'm glad to know vanilla has a yellow undertone (I'm looking more for a peach so I will most likely go for the creamy tan). That comparison pretty much narrowed my decision down to creamy tan of all their color options for this product.

Well, this product is just to-die-for. Especially, for ladies over 40 who, when inclined, are interested in camouflaging age spots--those dark, annoying little buggers hovering around the jawline. I use a normal foundation after applying "the magic," and it is A M A Z I N G ! Great review LIsa!

Love Max Cover- like you I've used it as foundation before (actually works nicely mixed in with a pump of primer) Unfortunately, the shade range is so limited I have to mix 2 together- one of which is now discontinued! Totally worth it anyway, I haven't found a better concealer in almost 10 years!

I bought these online in the 2 lightest colors. I can use them alone or mix them together. They will last for at least 100 years I think! I have vitiligo and it is the only thing that covers it!

Clarins Instant Touch Perfecting Primer is wonderful for a concealer base. I haven't tried it has a foundation but your undereye concealer does not crease. It's worth the money is my opinion :)

I think she already did the rimmel one, her review is very helpfull and and she has a review on the givenchy (sp?) which has a very cool aplication system and is supposed to be waterproof ;) she also says that pixiwoo does a make up tutorial on the rimmel (it's a very doll eyed one no very weding day but you could check it out ;)

Good review....i hv dry skin and my foundation looks cacky on it, though i mix some moisturizer in foundation too...

would clarins smooth perfecting touch be better as primer 4 whole face...and also suggest me any good foundation.!

If you have dry skin the clarins is an amazing primer. Also Dior Nude is a great founadtion for dry skin! :o)

JennisseMakeup uses this product in an older foundation tutorial if anybody wants to see an application. The only thing is that the color range is very limited.

I would suggest Bobbi Brown Corrector or the Benefit Erase paste for undereye!
