This is one of my favorite videos on Youtube. Like others have said, I love the natural sound of the aircraft...but having the pilot audio would have made it perfect. Audio from his O2 mask like on the video of the factory test pilot at the paris airshow. I think it is called "Ride along on F-16 demo flight." Something like that.
Mate. Absolutely LOVE the clear visor. We can see how hard you're working there - both physically and mentally.
I particularly liked the red out on he neg G, the vision of the cans kicking in on the low pass fast climb, and the almost pass out on the huge pos G pull.

That's how a Blue Angels died a few years ago no ? The pilot passed out and crashed into a rock during training or a show ? He had like 15 years behind him doing that and he still died. Amazing stuff though. Takes a lot of balls but also a lot of tax dollars hehe.
Badass maneuvers, oh my gosh, raised goosebumps on my back ! Kickass video ! Those sonic booms behind the wings when the plane breaks the sound barrier a few times, wow, it's just simply amazing. This stuff takes some serious balls to do. Do pilots pass out when they get throught those g force effects ? How many g was this, 7 or more ? Doesn't one pass out at 9 g ?
9 G-s. There is a G suit which has a blow up bladder clamped to the legs, that forces blood back up through the body. There is a manoeuvre, when you tense up, hold breath in bursts then pull against that. This forces the blood back into the brain, and that clears the vision. If a pilot gets G locked, it can be dangerous if they're alone. Some pass out then forget what they're doing while flying the plane.
But negative G is worst when flying upside down. That's weightlessness. You get hot headed, pressure like, the blood pours all over into your head, eyes and ears.
@MiraclesArePossible Yes, you can see this pilot flip inverted and do a partial outside loop into a vertical climb. Sometimes though you see the pilot cut the outside loop short and they roll it upright again before going completely vertical, so as not to pass out. That goes with their saying, "There are old pilots and there are bold pilots but there are no old and bold pilots."
