Who did Bush send to where? The only place i know where US soldiers have been sent to is the Middle East, and that was by Congress which is the only thing in the US that can declare war. People need to educate themselves on the US government if they say Bush sent us to Iraq, as that was Congress. This song presents a series of fundamental moral questions - how can this president send others to do (fight in a foreign war) exactly what he refused to do - he did everything in his, and his family's, power to weasel out of having to go to Viet Nam. I want to respond to your post for the reason that you indicate, that we in the anti-war movement, somehow belittle our American soldiers. Thats untrue. We love our troops. That's why it is so difficult to watch them die for lies and failed policies. I think what the songwriter was trying to point out the difference of the amount of American kids from low income groups, vs privileged kids, like Bush's daughters, who sit on the sidelines and or in the tabloid news. It attacks Bush's hypocrisy.
