  • Go Rabbi David-Seth Kirshner tell him how it is :)

  • Why the fuck do they give these insane idiots media attention and invite them on shows. Oh, because we don't treat highly religious people the same as the guy holding the "The end is nigh" sign on the street, by default, as we should do.

  • @PerilocutionAZ09 If my enemy wishes to hang himself it's important that I be willing to lend him some rope.... :)

  • @MichaelnChristine Nevertheless, I think giving these people so much attention is a public health hazard. Not unlike WBC coverage/interviews.

  • @PerilocutionAZ09 I love the WBC. They are the only Christian group that don't cherry pick the hell out of the Bible. Pun intend! I hate what they have to say but if anyone proves that this veneer of civility that Christianity has is enforced externally it's them... If you get my meaning...

  • @MichaelnChristine You have a point. But if Christians never acknowledge that they've got anything in common with the WBC, there's really no reason to continue giving them attention.

  • @PerilocutionAZ09 It's an easy debate point to nail just "See: No-True-Scotsman Fallacy" or "What are they doing that doesn't correspond to your Bible?" at which point, like it or not, they have to concede that they are living by the guidelines "God" ordained.

  • Without sounding like a Hitchens fanboy, I'd love to see Christopher sat next to this imbecile, he'd be leaving the room with 2 ass-holes after Hitchens finishes with him.

  • @benmols there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a Hitchens fanboy

  • @oshory

    Nothing wrong in the slightest.

  • stupid jew

  • fuck paladino

    fuck the rabbi

and fuck the religious, since we're at it

  • this is so american debate.

its so much debate on a perosn private life rather then less of his politics.. why is this?

  • Wow rabbi Levin completely outshines the conservative guy. He will change anything the Torah says to save a life, but he will still support abortion. Go figure.

  • @41Joke Please be aware that the "conservative" rabbi on the left is not politically conservative, but he belongs to Conservative Judaism, which is basically Judaism for liberals.

  • How sad that this ignorant rabbi is spreading misinformation and hatred against another minority, just as so many racists have attacked and condemned the Jewish people.God must be sickened that "religious" people spread so many evil in His name.

  • @joey71 we cant do anything about it but atleast well know your burning in hell hahahhahahhahah =)

  • I got an idea...instead of arguing subjectively about who or what you think religion or God is, or what you "think" God can do for you, or how evil Christianity is, etc. ... why don't you ask God to show you the truth...because he will... He KNOWS the truth because He invented it... and he will straighten you out because He's infinitly smarter than you are... and He can hear you because he invented the mind and heart and can hear both of yours...

  • @jeremycrunkout2

I was going to ask him, but his game of racquet ball with the Tooth Fairy went a little long and I could only get in touch with Gabriel, and you know how that guy is with his horn. I could hardly hear anything he said.

  • @soundscape718 paladino also basically hates gay people and called them "disgusting" at one point, meanwhile he's watching lesbian porn and emailing it to his co-workers only a few years back. Just amazing.....

  • @soundscape718 People LOVE to quote the 10 commandments too :) which most of them are orders of a jealous god that inspire fear in people, and the rest of them are obvious as the day is long to anyone who is not religious. They act like if you aren't religious you'll be slaughtering your neighbor for no reason or even raping kids (oops, the catholic church and Pope Ratzinger already condone that!) just read on, the chapters after the 10 commandments, they order genocide and slavery!

  • they key point is that the famous speech was given at a gentile goyish place that was karlsberg hasidic and thus non Jewish.

the media has gone to great lengths to call goyishe hasids "ultraorthodox".

hasids aren't on the Jewish spectrum because hasidism started less than 300 yrs ago based on "new" revelations". hasids were promptly called heretics and tossed out of the jewish world.

  • In response, I believe that one can be gay and religious since homosexuality isn't a choice, why should something such as homosexuality determine if someone chooses to believe in a religion or not. Since it's not a choice, it shouldn't matter one way or another.

  • Amen to rabbi kirshner

  • rabbbi yehuda levin..... i do not want him representing me as a jew. he is not the opinion of most jews and i think it is terrible that someone like that would even be there to represent

  • @aleckbratt amen to that sista!

  • This man is fighting an empty and pitiful battle... his only supporters are caged behind a cage of facial hair. He shuns the arabs for throwing stones at people faces, yet he shoots daggers in the backs and hearts of innocent and hurt children! I was raised by people like him... it is real, and it is scary. They have ruined my view of religion, and gave me challenges no one should have to bare to simply be caring and loving. F*&K him. I feel sorry for his children; and sorry for him!

  • This Levin is a disgraceful human being.

Nobody indoctrinates and brainwashes better than religious parents who force their religion upon their children, particularly in the case of male or female genital mutilation, but also internalized hate.

The world will be a better place when parents are forbidden from imposing their religious views and actions on their helpless children.

  • Yehdua Levin is an arrogant obnoxious man. Rabbi Kirshner sat there and listened to the pomposity and ignorance spewing from Levin's mouth while Levin made faces like a 2 year old when Rabbi Kirshner spoke. Levin called Kirshner a "nice fellow" but lacking knowledge and scholarship. Just because Rabbi Kirshner has a different point of view does NOT make Levin right and Kirshner wrong. THAT is the problem with extremists of any religion.

  • That jew is not a victim. FUCK YOU, Rabi ASSHOLE!

  • Looks like Paladino has done himself in with both the Jewish contingency and the gays - neither will forgive and neither will forget

  • I also agree that there is inconsistency between believing the Bible is the 'word of God' and rejecting the harsh laws in Leviticus. The best way forward, I think, would be for people to learn to see the Bible as a collection of texts written, compiled and edited by humans who were trying to understand their universe and God. Fullstop. That makes it possible to recognize wisdom in parts of the Bible, and to recognize bigotry and hatred in other parts. Just my opinion.

  • @quaggaxp There are harsh laws as you admit throughout all of Christian teachings. It's NOT only in Leviticus, God Damn it! it's throughOUT !

  • @XforeverlongingX: I am aware that there are harsh laws and bigotry throughout the book, but I was responding to folks who were talking about Leviticus.

  • Guys, I get what you're saying about the fact that bigotry is incorporated within Christian teachings. But it's not just Christianity; it's every single ideology, religious or secular that you have. That's because we humans have a range of "ways of being", including bigoted ones. So, basically, if you got rid of every religion in the world, there would still be bigotry. It's part of the dark side of human nature. For that reason, I am all for Christians trying to reform the religion from within.

  • @quaggaxp No real Christian would ever "reform their religion" As an anti-theist myself that idea is laughable. Reform ancient texts? lol Without the bible, the Qu'ran, and Jewish texts the world would be relieved of the majority of bigotry. The majority.

  • @XforeverlongingX People have been reforming their religions since time immemorial. That's exactly why Christianity, Judaism and Islam, which have similar roots, are separate religions. NB I didn't say anything about reforming ancient texts but it's been done.

I come from a community where Christianity is only 3 generations old, and I can assure you that prior generations of my family, who practised their indigenous religions, experienced and practised forms of bigotry.

  • @quaggaxp It's really not reforming though. You either subscribe to what's in the fucking texts or you don't. They cannot justify reforming it. If it's the un-erring word of god, then its the motherfucking unerring word of god. PERIOD! It doesn't make sense that people fucking change it and twist its meaning. If you want to do that, then throw the original texts out because they are not related anymore to the new material

  • hey, u are skewing this, on one hand we have ulta orthdox people making huge contirbutions, being liberal has nothing to do with contribution

  • Xcuse me for being cynical - but I am counting the days till this rabbi will be proven to have

    1) hired a male hooker himself or

    2) Fondled a boy or a guide dog

  • Religion is bull shit *Shrugs*.

  • @XforeverlongingX Idk why this was flagged as spam, I figured most would agree. I do. Leviticus is crap.

  • @XforeverlongingX : I think your comment may have been flagged as spam by somebody who doesn't realize that this is text from the Bible.

  • @quaggaxp Don't you love when I can get spammed by a Christian for using their own text verbatim to destroy their arguments? it doesn't get more objective than that

  • @quaggaxp Mormonism believed that Black people were SUB-human until the 1960's when the civil rights movement was very active. Nice little coincidence there. That's bigotry for ya as well

  • @XforeverlongingX Lol @ the spamming. It's actually quite funny when you think about it. Yep, I'm pretty much aware of what the Mormons taught.

Bigotry is an ugly thing. And I'm sad to say we humans will always find a reason to practice it, whether it's on the basis of ethnicity, income-level, religion or something else. Since you are not a theist, you surely believe that humans invented religion. And if you believe that, then you should be the first to argue that bigotry comes from us.

  • @quaggaxp no, bigotry comes from religion. Yes it is human created, but the religious texts, that are specific to a type of thinking, that is, religious thinking, are where bigotry comes from. Rationalists don't blindly bigot people like religious people do. Religion is a straight jacket. no matter what anyone says, it doesn't matter to a religious person. It's non negotiable.

  • @XforeverlongingX : Religion has to be negotiable. There's just too many contradictions in the scriptures for anyone who has read them to claim they know the truth. I don't believe the Bible's God's word; rather it's words of folks who TRIED to understand the bigger picture & failed. So there's bigoted stuff in it and good stuff too. I try to live by the Christian ethos of compassion. I know it's a selective interpretation of the religion. But everybody's selective, so why can't I be? :)

  • @quaggaxp by the type of thinking being religious thinking let me be more clear, sorry, what I mean to say is that when you saddle yourself with a book or religious documents and you follow everything they say, there is no wiggle room. It is such an insult to human beings who have the ability to think and be rational that we choose such a stupid way of thinking. So I guess you're right about us starting the whole bigotry thing, but man, religion reaaaallly sucks lol

  • @soundscape718 It's not only in Leviticus. It's in First Corinthians, it's in First kings, it's in Romans. A person is either Christian or they are not. There is no such thing as a Christian who believes homosexuality is not a sin. Period. Just one of the reasons that religion (the major ones) fucking suck

  • Fuck you "rabbi levin"

  • @soundscape718 If they don't agree with the anti-gay views in their religion then they are NOT following their religion properly. Look, people either are Christian or they are NOT. There is no in between. You either follow what the fucking bible says or you don't. You don't get to pick and choose. (I hate religion)

  • Rabbi Yahuda Levin is a dick.

  • this conservative scum 'rabbi' doesnt represent authentic Judaism in any way.

  • @saulboyjt however he is a valid representation of the views of hundreds of thousands of his kind.

  • @saulboyjt Oh sure, the 1% ultra-Orthodox nuts represent "authentic Judaism." Keep in mind that at one extreme we have liberal Jews making enormous contributions to science, technology, medicine, etc and at the other extreme we have the residents of Kiryas Yoel, ultra-Orthodox, deliberately uneducated, and the POOREST county in the entire country, with the highest percentage living off the government!

  • @oaklandj

    Schmuck,

If majority ever meant something then why don't you join the Christians and leave Judaism alone? For after all they are the majority, fool.

Also remember idiot, that only 1 fifth of all Jews were saved by God from Egypt and the rest perished because they didnt want to come out and be saved. And the Poor Slaves Jews, the 'uneducated' like you say, all were saved, and those liberal Jews' who 'contributed' to Egyptian society, those aristocrats were killed. Read history

  • @saulboyjt You're always saying that. The majority of JEWS will always be dragging humanity forward; the minority of literalists like you are only useful for your ability to reproduce. You still miss the point of Judaism while you obsess about the details.

  • @oaklandj

    Youre an uneducated idiot.

Check out my channel schmuck, I'm a classical pianist and a composer, I am educated in both my religion and the secular world, so your attack on religious Jews is satanic and idiotic.

You're below my level, go and learn some history and educate yourself, fool.

The leaders of the Jewish people were always religious. From Abraham all the way to our sages today, the reform movement is wicked and will disappear.

    Judaism means Torah observence!

  • @saulboyjt Satanic? Are you SURE you're not Christian? Talking about other Jews being evil? You really are Christian. Oh, I'm sorry - a "Messianic Jew." (Sorry, but we don't consider you Jewish).

Oh, and learn to spell. You Christians really should reconsider the whole homeschooling phenomenon.

  • @oaklandj

Yes, you are a wicked man making fun of your own people, when the truth is that youre the one who is uneducated.

The religious Jews are the leaders of all the Jewish people. The reform movement is a wicked organization invented by the devil himself, in order to cause Jews to sin.

    Israel forever!

    Torah forever!

Authentic Judaism Halacha and Talmud and Shulchan Aruch forever!

  • @saulboyjt Ah, "The Devil." You forgot to say a bunch of Hebrew-language paeans to Jesus. You are not Jews, much less the leaders of Jews. You wouldn't understand the Torah if it smacked you in the face. Go away.

  • Satan did a great job when he invented religion.

  • Rabbi talks like nazi
