You all do realize that the amusement park themselves do not make the rides, right? Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster were both made by Intamin. Cedar Fair bought the first one, while Six Flags purchased the second, which happened to beat Top Thrill Dragster in height and speed. Either way, the same company manufactured both. TTD is fantastic, and I'm sure so is Kingda Ka.

Dragster has a 400 foot drop.

Kingda Ka opened in 2005

Dragster opened in 2003

It took Kingda Ka 2 years to add 18 feet!

TTD beats kinda ka because without the the dragster there probably be no kinda ka. The six flags people are to lazy to make a different coaster so they just steal cedar points idea and ad a little hill at the end, and have it go higher. I bet I could design a coaster like that in under a min. This is how it would go: 475 feet tall, 132 mph, and after that every thing the same as top thrill. Now a am going to send that idea to cedar fair

Top Thrill Dragster came out 2 years before Kingda Ka. I've been on the Dragster at least 30 times but only twice on Kingda Ka. Both are great rides. Kingda Ka is a bit taller and faster and they have the airtime hill at the end. But hey, they had two yrs to upgrade. Lol

kinda ka does not have the talent like top thrill dragster. i find kinda ka as a ride and top thrill dragster as a dragster race and ride. kinda ka doesnt have the yellow,yellow,yellow, green lights and the enigin of a car and ya. I LOVE TOP THRILL DRAGSTER

I remember being so terrified to ride this and then I got on, used a little Bart Simpson wisdom for my mind (be in the coaster, but not OF the coaster) and by the end of the ride I was screaming about how it was one of the best rides ever.

You can't call it a copy cause Intamin built both of em. BUT, ttd was the first to be built and was ordered by Cedar Point. Kingda ka was ordered by six flags who wanted to own the tallest and the fastest coaster. So Intamin built a copy of ttd only a few feet taller and a few miles faster, and added an extra hill. So, you should blame Six Flags, who just like a 6 year old girl, wanted to own the biggest. Intamin built two awesome rides, even if i think ttd is still better.

x2 is fun but its short and i've had a bad experience on x2. They had slight brake malfunction. Ouir whole train got hit on the back of the head really hard at the end.

I bet Cedar Point will build a 4th dimension coaster eventually.
