I remember as a 12 year old kid watching The Cure playing the 17 seconds concert on dutch tv when it came out. This totally impressed me, how mysterious they sounded and looked. Next day I bought the album. Amazing that youngsters of today listen to early Cure and even play it, like I did.

I doubt it`s a Jaguar. Its a Jazzmaster. And again, she plays all well in timing etc. My favorit song on 17 seconds.

No, it's actually a Jaguar. It's the Jaguar HH, so thats why it doesn't have the single coil pickups. Also notice the 3 toggle switches on the bottom part of the guitar.

@IFoughtTheLaw369 Not to mention that if you compare it with Robert's original Jazzmaster, his was modified, he added one "middle" pickup from the old guitar he had (Woolworth "Top 20", used to record 3IB) even though he said he put it there just for its looks and never used it, this is why it looks like it has a single coil.
