Originally he gave the job to Robbie Williams and he didn't want it so they gave it to Gary. He's not a Simon wannabe. He's just very conservative and serious like Simon and perfect for the job. Simon left, they needed a new judge. I'm from the USA and your talent is way better and more entertaining than ours. Our judges (simon too) are more interested in arguing.

Why is she kept in this competition? Better singers and performers have been let go before her. This drags the quality of the show down.
