  • It´s amazing how the best bands ever are unknown :/ Couldn´t find any of their albums on any store! They were full with crappy pop music.Trading Yesterday i am sorry for what my generation has done to music.

  • Religion is like santa clause for adults... or the easter bunny... a fiary tail... however the way parts of fx the bible can enlight some people to live with peace and seek happiness is nice :) and the song is really great :)

    (sorry for my bad spelling)

  • I'm so proud to be a Christian. ♥ And for all of you that don't think this song has anything to do with the Christian religion, you must be deaf or something. Almost every line in this song is obviously about God. Just sayin'. Thumbs up!

  • I am officially a Trading Yesterday fan.

  • even if i'm an atheist i love this song.

  • great song, and there's obviously a religious implication

  • Amazing song. But wait, did they change their name?

  • why is this song religious? just because it says savior in the sky it could mean anything, even aliens?? this song i think is open for interpreted so i don't think people should say that it is so religious, if it means that for u, fair enough, but don't make it so thats all the song means

  • @tomcat941

You must be joking. Almost every line in this song has a religious meaning. You don't even have to be well-versed in Christianity; this track is openly religious- very little, if any, room for interpretation. Are you not reading the lyrics, or did you post this on the wrong song?

Aliens? Really? Honey, when you hear hooves, you go ahead and think, "horsey," not, "zebra."

  • @SRoss264 Yes but again, that doesn't mean its right. I accept this song might mean religon, but i do not believe that is all it can mean. When i said aliens i was opening up the possability. If you can't interpret something in many ways then you are closed minded, even if you think one of those ways is wrong.

  • @tomcat941

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh, sorry; I thought you had more jokes. Of course it means it's right! How are you trying to turn this into a closed- versus open- minded conversation? Whether or not someone accepts the possibility of extraterrestrial life does not change the fact that THIS song is 100% based in Christian beliefs - i.e. NOT open to interpretation at all.

  • @SRoss264 When i said open to interpretation i meant this song is open for interpretation not that the possability of alien life form is open for interpretation. Nearly everything is open for intererpretation, and unless you go over and ask them personally whether it was 100% religious, then this song can be interpreted in any way with evidence, which you have not provided, rather than just sarcastic comments with no proof.

  • @tomcat941

    Hopeless...

"crying to the sky," I'm sure he's talking about those aliens here.

"There is a hope beyond this life." He must be talking about reincarnation through Dianetics.

"There is a Savior in the sky, giving His life to set the world on fire." No religious undertones at all.

"As our king, You will bring Your truth to guide and keep us. All of Hell can not prevail against Your love." Still not seeing it?

"May Your light take my life. Set my heart on fire." Pretty straight-forward.

  • @SRoss264 hahaha This comment makes me smile :)

  • @SRoss264 xD You tell 'em! Your conversation just brightened my day. And this song is OBVIOUSLY a religious song. If they can't see that then I think they might be deaf and blind. xD lol

  • @tomcat941

Am I being sarcastic? I think that's open to interpretation. I'm not going to apologize for not taking you seriously; you make it extremely difficult.

  • You know, I have been really down lately. So much stuff has gone on in my life, things that are for the most part, my own fault. But I came across this song by accident.. and though I've never been a religious person, this song is just beautiful. Its it gives me hope.. hope that there is a better world out there, and there really is someone looking over me. I think I may ask my dad to start taking me to church. :)

  • I'm not Christian, but every time I hear a song like this I still feel spiritually attached to God. I believe these types of songs could be taken any way... Could be heartfelt no matter what religion you are. I am a Muslim, and I have tolerance for all religions.

  • @senzafine578 YOU'RE AWESOME. :') I'm a muslim too and that's exactly how i feel. much loves. and it doesn't matter what religion you are. because every time you listen to a song like this... it just makes you feel more in love with what you believe in. x)

  • USually I don't like christian songs. You know, the whole "I love god so much I want to write a song that makes it sound like I want to have sex with him". This song has an amazing level of passion in it. To be honest, a song like this could convert me from my atheism xP

    Great song, TY. Ilusm.

  • omg I love so much this song. nice song

  • I would like the sheet music for this song, anyone know how or where to get them.

  • What does he say in the background while the last "may your light" (not shown in lyrics on side) is sung? I can't make it out... PLEASE reply ASAP!

  • Its says The band name and then "The Beauty & the tragatidy(Spelling) Its blurry and hard to see but thats what it says.

  • Oh! Thanks! XD

  • Your Welcome. =P

  • i think it's something like

may your light... shoot beyond this night

    if that's what you're asking =/

  • oh i'm sorry.. you ment the very last "may your light" i gave you the one for the 2nd to last..

it could be either "Our anthem as we wait, for love to save the day"

    or,

"so hold us as we wait, for love to save the day"

  • Cool! Thank you!! No worries about giving me the wrong one first; your help is greatly appreciated! ^U^

  • I think:

    waiting for a sun...

    crying into sky...

    for life to come around...

    so we ???....

  • Great! Thanks so much!! I really needed these lyrics! ^U^

  • its a very beautiful song :} and i almost fell asleep when i listened to it x}im gonna get trading yesterdays songs! theyre amazing :3 good job with the vid :}!

  • Wow.. beautiful...♥

  • awesomeee <3

  • Every song of theirs I hear just gets more beautiful than the one before.

I love these guys, and I will search the internet to find their CD; Amazon doesn't seem to have it :(

  • I found them on Amazon but it's super expensive. Like $70 for a cd.

  • Ouchie! That's high. Do you have any idea if they recorded these albums again under their new name (The Age of Information)?

  • I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

The songs are on limewire. I don't use it, so I had a friend get them for me.

Another option is downloading 'Videora' which is an ipod converter.

  • My brother uses Limewire, so I'll get him to sort me out.

Thanks so much for all your help! :)

  • No problem! ;)

  • I've never heard such beautiful lyrics from any other band...

  • Praise the Lord. He loves us sooo much!

  • I give props for dis song.

I finally found songs other than Evanescence and Ben's songs.

  • omg........ this is one of the most beautiful Christian songs of all time... i lovee it.. and i lovee god

  • This song is so beautiful and makes me proud to say that I love God without any hesitation..

  • good comm
