Hey greekmadnessss, how do you pronounce "Οι" when it is its own word... is it still "ee"? And how about Ιοι, capital iota omicron iota as the first word of a sentence. Is that ee-oh-EE or ee-EE?

I still get confused on some of these hidden dipthongs as I haven't seen any videos really go into the details. thank you!!

oι and οί =ee for example :οίκος(EEkos)=house, οικογένεια(eekoGEnia)=family

oϊ and όι  = oee for instance ρολόι(roLOee)

I would watch videos like Lesson 1 learning Greek or something before watching these videos. They focus less on teaching you to pronounce and more on the words to learn.
