there's more to benny hill than scantily clad women and you don't stay on tv for 38 years for lack of talent and when hill's show started in 1951 he wouldn't of been able to have girls with just their bras and knickers on his show which didn't come till 1976 and again due to politically correctness in the mid 80's onwards, benny was one of the first comedians to play lots of parts in a sketch, using split screams, spoofs of films and tv shows/adverts, word play which were highly influential

But some of the material was remade on THE BENNY HILL SHOW (see YIELD TO THE DAWN and THE FUDPUCKERS); classic stuff right here!

Barry Otto played the numbskull "Jed boy," while Lorna Lesley played "Lucy Jardine." Ron Shand was the bald guy, but for the life of me I can't make out the crying wife.
None of the dvd's have this skit...it was only shown on the tele for Australia only but it is on a hard to find vhs entitled "The Best of the Benny Hill Show Volume 3"

2. realize you're not very funny at all.
3. bring in the scantily clad women to distract the audience from this fact.
