An excellent checklist to follow. I find that virtually all MLMs do not satisfy at least half of your criteria. I'd like to add one more to the list - leverage. How much leverage is placed on distributors which result in upward flowing commissions to uplines and company profits. Primerica, for example, has amonst the highest level of leverage placed on its Distributors, to the point that it's criminal.

this is what other people dont understand and they usually see sometimes pyramid systems as more legitimate than direct selling MLM.. the public should always consider if the company's products are salable or if their clients will surely love the product and buy again once it is totally consumed..?? which means, can there be a return purchase..?? this is one of the reason why a lot of legitimate MLM now is having a hard time introducing their products even though how best it is..
