DO NOT TRY THIS AT ALL IF YOU CANT FOLLOW INSTRUCTION CORRECTLY.Regedit/messing with the registry is very dangerous business. You accidentally delete something wrong and important in it and you'll risk total system failure. Regedit is like the skeleton system of your body.It is not recommended for inexpert to dabble with this. It's funny as a prank but when something breaks, its not.

or you could open notepad, type "shutdown -r-t-f" or "shutdown-s-t-f" (the "-r" stands for restart and the "-s" stands for shut down), then save it as shutdown.exe, then right-click the icon and click "create shortcut". That's another way to shutdown you're computer.

3. Create a new DWORD value and name it CrashOnCtrlScroll

4. Right-click on this newly created value and click on Modify

5. Enter 1 in the Value data field and click on OK.

6. Close regedit and reboot your system.

7. Now you can crash the computer by holding down Ctrl and pressing Scroll Lock twice.

I think it works in Vista and 7 - you can try it.
