sorry. the only reason the NHL was done is too bring back the rivalriess if eastern teams played western teams all the timee--why would there be any need for conferences then they should pick th top 16 teams to go to the playoffss so actually it isnt as idiotic as you think

I understand the rivalry thing....but they could at least have each team meet at least twice in a year...once home and once away. Meeting a team 8 times is a bit much and it doesn't become a rivalry it becomes boring. Boston played Toronto 2 times in a row a couple of weeks ago and both games were in Toronto. The ratings for those games went down. You see the same teams over and over.

And i'm very glad that Lunquist is Swedish, we will need him in upcomming world cups and olymmpics. And hopefully some world championchips, but that depends on how it's going for the Rangers, stanly cup is ongoing during the world championchip every year.
