lol theres actually 6. Meas Sok Sophea sang this song 3 times, Pich Sophea, Yok Tith Rotha and Ouk Sokun Kanha sang this song as well. Who knows, theres probably more versions out there.
It's ridiculous. This rampant plagiarism is hindering the creation of original music. They spend so much time copying that there's no time for original composition.
I absolutely agree. I wonder, if other countries and cultures have the time and ability to compose their own music, WHY can't we? I don't see what's preventing us. We can't use the excuse that everyone copies everyone. Just because you see other people doing it, doesn't mean you have the privilege to do the same.
My theory is that the Khmer Rouge had killed most of the educated music composers back in the days, so the ones who are "making" music today aren't very knowledgeable about music theory and western music. Whatever the case is, they copy way too much.
Back in the days - people did what is being done today - please do some research...Sin Sisamouth and the Beatles sang "Sugar" and that was long ago...this is just music entertainment business...they all do that so that the people who doesn't know the language can enjoy and appreciate the song when they can actually understands it in their language.....
man i think she's pretty for a khmer girl, i love my culture:P and this song rules Khmer Pride! plus i love khmer girls for their soft voice when they sing, i think it's soothing
Yes, no offence to any of the Reymeas fans but seriously, they have no creativity. I agree though, Meas Sok Sophea sounds better than Pich Sophea but the lyrics and music for the RHM version is much better.

Hey this looks like ReyMeas is copying RHM's idea of the video for this song.
However, Meas Sok Sophea sounds better than Pich Sophea.

Yep, RHM are more creative than Reymeas when it comes to making videos. But there are some songs in Reymeas that aren't half as bad either.
