what he lacks in open-field speed, he easily makes up for in his mental and physical toughness. my goodness does he just smash defenders in the mouth. if he can get his top-end speed and cutting quickness up, it's going to be a highlight-ridden 2012 season for moody...
@guitarbumx You don't need top end speed (and I thought his 1,000 yard season starting only in the second half proved that). What you need is a first and second gear and Moody certainly has that burst.
McNeal is pretty much my favorite player on the team since he reps for the smaller guys of the football world (Since im 5'8 myself) and he ruins with determination and even after contact he keeps his legs moving, he reminds of Jquizz Rodgers who used to play at Oregon State because they both ran between the tackles and were not the biggest backs on their teams. Who ever takes over at QB next season (My hope is Barkley will return but if not i would like to see the mobile cannon armed Scroggins)
@USCTrojansFan420 Scroggins yes indeed. I hear he's also good at protecting the ball real good, doesn't take too well to interceptions. Future is looking good for USC.
Mcneal was the little engine that could. he brought back the running game for SC, and always pulled through on 3rd downs when we needed it most. fight on Mcneal your a beast =]
Thanks for the highlight video. I called my shot on Curtis McNeal at the beginning of the season. I didn't know anything about him but just watching him run the ball, and hit holes; it was obvious he was gonna be special.
The offense really picked it up when Moody started to get carries. Barkley definitely benefited from the effectiveness of the ground game due to Moody's production. Glad he was finally given the chance to get some serious carries this season. Fight On!
curtis mcneal is a true home run threat at RB. we don't need to put george farmer at tailback.
use him the same way the ducks use De'Anthony Thomas. we have so many explosive weapons on offense it isn't even fair. the only need i see is maybe a heavy-duty third down back that can pick up short yardage. other than that, we should be the greatest show on college football turf next year if MB7 comes back.
awesome video! He was one of the most exciting players to watch, considering his speed, and ability to break tackles from guys who are twice his size.
Some credit had to go to Coach Kennedy Polamalu. What a great runner and what a great comeback story. Thanks for cutting this video. Can't wait for the other highlights.

@scallywhomper a 20 yard gain is definitly a highlight, whether or not he trips.
sk8terdrew246 3 months ago
@sk8terdrew246 he would hav gone about 20 more yards

@scallywhomper Put it this way, he humiliated the defense first before he slipped up.

He's gonna have an incredible year next year cuz considering he only started about half the games this year and what he did he's gonna be special

My favorite highlight is McNeal blowing up Manti-Teo at 0:23, plus the slo-mo that follows. Not many backs could do that.
