  • Thanks for posting this. Scott Stout is obviously a highly competent and confident player. The music is rather heavy-going, but I find it more attractive on further listening, and the fugue is fascinating. You say nothing about the organ - I would be interested to know some details. Surely it cannot be electronic, despite the rather unfortunate-looking console. It sounds very fine over the Tube.

  • @Offshoreorganbuilder this is scot. glad you liked the willan piece -- it's pretty obscure, though i don't know why. the organ is a late 1940s moller, typical stoplist but very nice voicing. no 16' manual stops, and no 32' of any kind. all 3 divisions are under expression in their own chambers, located behind the white grill cloth in the chance (behind the filigree cross).

  • @blueeyedbehr Thanks for this information. What an excellent idea to give the organ a good position at the front of the building, whilst still hiding it away, where the design of the room requires this. Thanks again for your performance.
