how similar is this to snowboarding?  i can snowboard and i'm going to the states this summer. i miss snowboarding sooooooo much!!!

I also like how soft the sand is when the occasional faceplant comes along :)

can you just use a snowboard to sandboard?

better to get a real sandboard, theyre quicker and easier to turn. Use sandboard wax before you go down and it'll be sweet . . .

@greencj i live in oregon i ride at the dunes and snowboard but where do i get a board at you said the snowboard isnt that great for sandboaring

awesome dunes & great riders! ...and yes, 2 showers are a must after a hard days sandboarding, I mean, face planting :D
