Thats probably one of the dumbest ideas ever, Blasters have one of the worst frame geometries and suspension set ups. They are cheap in price for a reason, so 12 year olds have something to ride. Great bike if your young dont get me wrong, but why waste your time and money putting this project together?? Buy a Banshee or a 250R, you would have been further ahead

@ky2stroker what i think is funny about this is the fact that a blaster frame is lightweight and by only adding an exhaust a blaster can outrun a stock banshee. and if you max out a banshee and a blaster and race them, the blaster will win. banshee's are great bikes though i like the way they look and sound better, plus the twin cylinder 2 stroke thing is cool.

hey man i went throught the same lil spell ur in that moter is way to heavy for that bike dont get me wrong that wr500 has plenty of go but not of the line i had a good freind build up my 500wr blaster 1991 and the same 200cc with the 240 stroke kit a good piston ported it all out shaved the head and fmf'd the thing out had it on a nother blaster i had and that 200 would eat my 500 its got all that torque but no go thats why your lifting up all the time plus its easier to find parts for the 2

JUST FOR THE RECORD, to answer all questions, it is a 93' yamaha wr500 dirt bike motor in the blaster frame. it has a stock swingarm still and the carb is way out of tune, as thats why my 250r got him off the line, but the blaster still catches up at the end.

the blaster has a 93' yamaha wr500 2 stroke dirt bike motor in it. and it also has a custom drag pipe made by FTZ racing. but it was out of tune very bad with the carb and plus you can hear the clutch slipping like crazy in the 500. evnen though it doesnt show it, when they are both topped out, the blaster will walk by the 250r.
