In 1966 I bought a Grey Wartburg 1000 like the one in the video,6000miles on it.I was in the Welsh mountains when the head gasket blew.Had it towed to a Ford dealer who never drained the coolant, so the rings rusted to liners.It ruined the car.I loved that Wartburg.The idiots towed it in gear to free the pistons and screwed up the crown wheel & pinion in trans.I shudda sued the idiots.I was too naive and young at the time,when I got home to Swindon I had a new trans put in.I live in USA now.

do like those 60's Wartburgs a true classic
