Awesome music! I remember reading the liner notes saying that he's made some mistakes playing the blues. Part of it was because he's British, that only American musicians should be allowed to play American blues. Bullshit! He's not the first Brit to play American jazz and blues, and I hope he's not the last. The second mistake he said he made was that he's an actor playing music. So what? I'm sure there are plenty of actors who also play music. He's my current favourite.

My wife is in love with the show House, which the protagonist is the actor Hugh Lauri, which develops an excellent job. I fully agree. But as a singer of blue is a tremendous slutty. The guy does not sing anything besides having a horrible voice. Sir Hugh Lauri, please, this is not your thing.

if you wanna be a classical piano player, then 90% percent of what you need is practice.
but if you wanna be a music maker, ie composer, singer etc, then you need talent... im not saying that artists like lady gaga do not have the voice, cause I believe that she has a great voice.. however, she is not using it correctly and thats so sad as you said..
@dennis0mus the sad thing is that people believe that being as lady gaga or jB is the greatest thing or is the absolut music expression... i play the bass & guitar & i try to avoid that kind of music... thats why im here listening to good music ;)

I am a piano teacher, and I cannot believe that I have fellow-teachers that play electric guitar or so, that really listen to house music.. And its unbelievable coz that is a kind of music that is extremely repetitive and of low quality!!
I have a huge range of taste... I listen to chopin and the scorpions one after another! imagine that :P
@dennis0mus i think that is great that you listen to a variety of music... some friends of mine who are classical musicians are very close minded & i hate arguing with them... music is not only classical.. blues and rock and lots of more generes are great!
