  • you could really get high 2 this song!!!! #.#

  • They WERE and ARE the Greatest Ever

  • Anyone who does not bow the GREAT LED ZEP is a fuckin douche bag

  • my favorite led zepplin song

  • Greatest band in the history of rock and roll hendrix was good and eric clapton but there no Page, Bonzo made beats no one can follow...John paul jones unlike other basests he DID NOT SUCK, Robert plant Haha no other voice could of made zeppelin LedHeadT1llD3ath bros ROCK ON ZEPPELIN OF LED IN MY HEAD! \m/

  • @LedHeadT1llD3ath yeah youre totally right cus hendrix obviously coudnt follow page and paul mccartney is a perfect example of a shit (note:) BASSIST, keith moon was obviously no way near equal to bonham and who cares that plant has practically no songwriting talent compared to legends like lennon, jagger/richards, townshend etc

    OH. WAIT....

  • @LedHeadT1llD3ath and dont get me wrong led zeppelin are one of my top 5 bands and this song is especially good but the real core strength of the band lies in its chemistry and being unique.

  • Bonzo - what a drummer. What a groove. What a riff. What a track.

  • simply perfect

  • if ya dont like zeppelin something is seriously wrong with you, contact a psychiatrist immediately

  • @BCdipper1. They are Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Korn fans who hate LZ.

  • @axn36 nirvana and korn were good 8 years ago, i used to rock that shit with a little kashmir lol i think they just dont understand what they're listening to, believe it or not youtube lets dumb people on here...

  • @axn36

... Just because someone likes heavy metal/grunge/nu-metal doesn't mean they hate Zep. I for one LOVE Led zeppelin but my fav. band that is together is Avenged Sevenfold along with System of a down, Pearl Jam, Slipknot etc etc. Zeppelin was a major influence on many rock bands. Rock from 60s+ is good to me, some 80s hair metal was a disgrace, but I love all rock from heavy metal to blues is awesome!

  • 81 bieber fan

  • K.I.L.L.E.R

  • Thank you Memphis Minnie. These boys did a wonderful thing to your song.

Though w/ the two tracks the harmonica solo is physicaly impossible.

  • OMG!!! you, on the computer. theres no sense in wanting to pleasure your ears right? i mean c'mon who really wants to have an eargasm. not you? well if you change your mind there...check my channel out oh my mind blasty musical love is inside. word up

  • I can't believe people went outta their way to find this video to dislike it lol

  • eargasm. the worst part is at 7:07

  • ..what is that ??? the led zeppelin.... unique band i wish the true GOD allow them to live forever

  • @francis14mark through the majesty of digital music and radio waves, they do

  • esa armonica se paso de madres !

que buena rola viva led zeppelin mi apa y la chona

  • kill ass song!!!

  • Xm radio is clueless then. They're like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Ignorant. The Geico gecko knows more about music.

    He's from the Holland Tunnel.

  • @entwistle4ever Oh you love the Ox. I fucking grew up on 70's blues metal.

  • Led Zeppelin Forever

  • whats sad is XM radio lists Zep as "pop" -___-

  • Rolling Stone still don't rate Queen. I don't see why people are attaching their name to be something to be respected on.

  • @freddiebrianjohn

Is Queen in the RnRHOF? They should be. I can't say i was ever big fan of them, though i do like some songs by them a lot. They were extremely unique in every way and had a sound all their own and were masters of that 'operatic' sound. And Freddie was one of the best all time vocalists ever. Whether people liked their style or not, can't deny their achievements :D

  • It might be a stupid qeustion, but whats a Levee? I´m from Holland

  • @Quicxy if your from Holland you should know better that most. a levee is a structure that keeps flood waters back, a wall or a mound of earth also known as a dyke

  • @Quicxy a dam

  • @Quicxy From the French for "raised", it's a riverbank formed out of silt deposited at the edges, while the faster-flowing water in the middle scores out a channel. The river thus makes its own dykes, but in times of severe flood they can give way, flooding the surrounding land. Levees are usually artificially reinforced, and extra ones built.

  • @danlefou Thanks! :)

  • Man this song is such a trip. Just cant get enough of it.

  • @5burowz

Then they reviewed Presence in 76. Heavy metal was already established as a genre and some thought Zep had peaked. Then they reviewed ITtOD in 79, and Charles Young was saying basically they were past their former greatness and the bandmembers' individual talents werent working well together anymore.

  • @5burowz The only album Rolling Stone really bashed was their debut. The original RS review for Zeppellin I was in 69..

They reviewed it again as a great record in 2001 to apologize

They reviewed Zep III in 1970, with some doucher named Les Bangs. He liked the album and loved some of the songs, but noted half the album was "uninspiring" and LZ's music as a whole were entirely emotional and never cerebral.

  • John Paul Jones, almost as underestimated as Richard Wright!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @LedSandman he said underestimated

  • @LedSandman -cough- "underESTIMATED" -cough-

  • @pyromaniackid1 thanks captain obvious, TheSolidm16zach had the same reaction...

  • @skinny9283

    Richard Wright is my hero.

As well as JPJ, and Keith Emerson, and Rick Wakeman

  • fuc yea

  • hence the name led as in overwiegted zepplin one that wont wont fly

  • @casey11x thats the joke, the band was called this as a joke by someone because he thought they had no chance, so they changed their name and became the second best selling band ever

  • @PinguTheG Not just someone. John Entwistle.

  • Does anyone know why Rolling Stone Magazine shit on some of Zep's albums in their reviews??

  • @5burowz Because rolling stone is a joke. what kind of magazine calls itself rolling stone and has brittney spears on the cover??????

  • Altbekannt und immer wieder gut! LED ZEP eben.

  • If its not making your ears bleed then you need to turn it up

  • In the early 70's they made $240k for one show and that show (in Atl) I believe was the largest grossing concert (over the Beatles)....If I recall 40000 people showed...if my math is correct A LED ZEPPELIN TICKET COST $6!!!!!

Led Zeppelin was around what...10-15 years at the most? I see tours started in 1968 and ended in 1980 *sadly*...so for 12 years or so the greatest band produced the greatest music ever...and people saw if for $6 in the early 70's!!! SIX DOLLARS!

  • @SD1Chargers You need a new coach and GM.

  • @SD1Chargers yeah and people actually didnt like them in their beggining stages cause they were way to "hard rock" for the early stages of their careers.

  • One of the greatest rock band in the world!period!

  • 2:32 GOTTA LOVE HOW 2 GUITARS ARE PLAYING AT THE SAME TIME. Led Zeppelin are so fucking fake..

  • @IHIoMiCiDe You can't really get any more stupid than you are at this time

  • @anlloyy97 The truth hurts.

  • @IHIoMiCiDe What truth would that be ?

  • @IHIoMiCiDe It's called track mixing... and just about every band does it... So what is your argument here, again?

  • @IHIoMiCiDe A L L bands are "fake" in the recordings,on stage, well thats where they

reveal their true god status.Never a rhythm guitarist in their short history,JPJ being the genius bassist he is, made you forget about that ! they have been ripped to death since their debut, yet increasingly more legendary and popular than ever.they are all "fake but they are the best "fake"

  • @IHIoMiCiDe Umm...that's known as an overdub. You do understand that this is a studio recording, not a live track don't you?

  • crying wont helpya praying will do ya no good

  • No kidding my hair just grew back whilst listening to this again...long and luxurious.

  • @Markofsatan

Maybe cancer patients just need Led Zeppelin.

  • I used to be dry like you, but then I took a Katrina to the levee...

  • A Great Song Even Todays' Times' And What's To Come! Live Life One Day At A Time ,Have Fun!!!, Have A Ball!!!! And Always Stay Alert!!!

  • you forgot to mention, keep listening to good music i.e. zeppelin, sabbath, motorhead, deep purple and all the others

  • @GreboGent

motorhead ! still fucking doing it hats off to em

  • this is the song I listened when I was high for the first time, had the best downer I ever had on weed

  • I think this is the best song on this album. I know that's saying a lot.

  • Love the blues harp......

  • Hammer of the Gods

Beacuse it isn't Mjølner that makes thunder

    It's Johns bass drum!!

  • fact: led zeppelin kicks ass. opinion- you suck if you disagree.

  • Listening to this amazing song with broken headphones (i.e. right ear working/left ear not) is an intense experience. Right = slightly deaf but paradise. Left = wanting a wet willy from Robert Plant :o)

  • Happy Birthday Jimmy, musical genius.

  • happy birthday Jimmy!!

  • Happy B-Day Jimmy.

  • RIP OFF!

  • i don't understand how you could dislike this song !

  • The reason music from the 60's and 70's etc was so good is because everyone making it was high. seriously, i reckon if weed is legalised music will change dramatically.

  • @ColtClockwork you think these rappers aren't gettin high night after night come on!

  • @TasOMW They do shit like coke and pharmaceuticals... good music comes from psychedelics and good ol' Mary Jane! :)

  • @TasOMW

    Also their music is shit.

  • @TasOMW Yes. But they have no talent.

  • @TasOMW I wasnt really being serious but actually when you think about it, it makes sense. when weed first became widely used and wasnt so strictly treated, we had awesome talented bands like led zepp, but as soon they started illegalising it, (most)music started to slowly get worse and just about the arsehole media making money out of talentless morons.

  • @ColtClockwork dude people in the music industry take more drugs today than in the 60s

  • @shaka7611 I'd doubt it. 60's and 70's dudes were into weed, acid, and coke later on. Whiz Khalifa or whoever might smoke weed, but I guarantee bands like Sabbath and Aerosmith have done oodles more drugs.

  • @shaka7611 ya cuz todays "artists" think it makes them look cool whil real musicians take drugs cuz of the pressure and the fame...which is too much for them

  • I just love this song.. old school hip-hop is pretty good, but this new lil wayne, J.B auto tuned machined edited shit has to stop...

  • Third behind Chaelaraek !

  • I second chaelaraek!!

  • Led Zeppelin=Musicial geniuses

  • @TheCruechick11 more like musical gods

  • Say what you want about music being just as amazing when you're sober, but when you're stoned this song is absolutely fucking supernatually, phenominally amazingly awesome

  • Sober as fuck and this song is absolutely beautiful.

  • @Ironman374 i love you.

  • Pretty good shit.

  • I wanna marry this song

  • There should be a Love button. Pure talent. I WAS born in the wrong time period. I love them so so much.

  • Reminds me of riding around in my 1975 Plymouth Valiant listening to this on 8 track, of course it ate the tape eventually.

  • Fuck i grew up in the wrong generation, im 17 and all i hear around school is this hip hop shit with no talent, wish i coulda bin there back in the day, there with an american muscle car listening to Led Zeppelin, dammit

  • @jtkkowal me too. and this music is my favourite. but i also respect many kinds of rap a well

  • Found my way here because of Kim, glad I did, big tune

  • The beginning of this song and of the song "In My Place" by Coldplay sound very similar, check it out.

  • All I can think of is Sam Winchester in the panic room. :/

  • @NihkiNeon95 Thumbs up for Supernatural right there.

  • @MrBama302 Right there, bro. //fistbumps It's a shame, however, that the Supernatural crew will never be able to afford the rights to Led Zepplin's music, as well as other legends. :c

  • @NihkiNeon95

Yeah. They do alright with what they got. You can't beat a show with badass music cars women and guns.

  • @MrBama302 I vote yes to all of the above with a shot of whiskey.

  • your portfolio is impeccable.

  • Since we are all part of this little corner of one of billions of galaxies, thank goodness for the hammer of the gods!

  • Damn, Bonham hits it right off. What an amazing drummer! And Plant does not do a bad job on harp.

  • has zep stood the test of time or effin what ? gee-zus...the big beat, what epic scope they bring to even simple 3 chord music. i can't believe how people gush over bands not worthy to roadie for zep. the so called r 'n' r hall of fame is being diluted with each passing year...beatles , stones , zep. if ya can't write and play at that level..get the effin hell outta here.

  • @LanceHelmut You are dead on my friend. I saw them in 75 and they kicked azz. I would have to say that Tull and Uriah Heep in 72 were about as good, and Free in 73 just blew us away....Traffic played with Free and just got smoked. Free was a hell of a rock n roll band, but has nowhere near the catalog of songs Zep does.

  • This just shows how good Bonzo is. He didn't HAVE to play like a fantastic maniac all the time, he could sit back and just play a simple beat for nearly 7 minutes straight...

  • I came.

  • This song gives me assertiveness. Cool riffs, awesome voice and kick ass harmonica. I'm glad that I'm not one of those people of my age who listen to all that mainstream stuff. Nothing is better than Metal, Rock and Rock 'N' Roll.

  • This song is a revelation, pure genius... art at its finest, cant stop listening

  • so heavy ooze on down the road.

  • this song makes me hard.

  • This song is sick as tits

  • 78 People must live in New Orleans.

  • @KREEPNASTY1 dang...

  • @KREEPNASTY1 so u got problem with southerns then?

  • @slummyzeru He said that because the song is about the great mississippi flood..

  • @slummyzeru No.

  • @KREEPNASTY1 Make that 79.

  • @KREEPNASTY1 I am from Louisiana and live very close to New Orleans! That's SO wrong but I literally laughed my ass off!

  • @KREEPNASTY1

why do you say they live in New Orleans that place is awesome and the people there no how to party and what is music.

if they are going to be living in New Orleans they must be the stuck up white-ass people that never go into a jazz bar or eat spicy food

(And before any of you Bastards call me racist I am White and i know what I'm talking about PS I am the exact opposite of the white people i just talked about)

  • @tesSKYRIMaddict I just put the first thing that came to my head. I wasn't trying to offend anyone. I'm not White Or Black, but how did this subject turn to "race", Anyway ?

  • @KREEPNASTY1

well think a little longer before you tell a Catholic that New Orleans isnt the place to be on fat tuesday

  • zTeZackewolf

  • If i were parent of any members of led zeppelin i would say pls dont play i dont want to swim in cum

  • @mateosivi What the hell, man?!

  • high as fuck and this song is absolutely beautiful

  • @chaelaraek Thats what i was looking for

  • @chaelaraek fuck yeah man

  • @chaelaraek I'm certainly not high and this music is still beautiful. And badass!

  • @Ptaku93 You Know I was just thinking the smae thing.

  • @chaelaraek you're so cool.

  • @zakzero123 i know (:

  • \m/ ;D Poland love LED ZEPPELIN \m/

  • I've realised that this is infact the best piece of music ever made.

  • @ColtClockwork by Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie

  • 78 people attend vicars tea parties.

  • Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie would approve, I think. This song puts you on the levee with the lightning, the thunder, wind rain, waves, and the utter heartbreak of a hopeless sharecropper. Zep worked some true magic here.

  • @TheTallGrassPrairie Very true, and don't forget the churning steamboat paddles, whistles and sirens. The sound may have been influenced by an album called "Steam Railroading Under Thundering Skies", recorded in Mississippi during a storm and issued in the UK in the 60s. The wailing harmonica is very reminiscent of the loco whistles and emergency vehicle sirens on that album, which LZ may well have heard.

  • OH fuck!!! some Jack daniels and zeppelin, how could i go wrong

  • The sound of the storm ripping your old life to shreds. This is still, after over 30 years of listening, one of my all time favorite songs.

  • @zacatecas2002 I'm only 24, heard this song thousands of times, and it gets better everytime

  • I'M SEEING THIS NEAR 2012!!!

  • Love Led Zeppelin - Love my Zep Tat2.

it don't get any better than this folks..

  • ....and that ladies and gentlemen is why this IS the greatest rock band of all time.

  • Mt Eden - The walk.

  • OH DONT TAKE IT SO SERIOUS

  • 78 people dis like this song, over a million of us hate your stupid ass too

  • 78 people standing on the levee

  • ah real music, its been to long........

  • 78 fuckerssssssssssssss

  • After 30+ years, there still no other drum hook that sounds so in the groove.

  • que chido suena la armonica

  • I love the way the drums and the other instruments intertwine, fuckin' awesome

  • Magnifica melodia, viva led zeppelin

  • @JCRINRI7 de acuerdo contigo . solo queda disfrutar la rola. saludos

  • omg the beginning is fucking amazing!!!!!! drum riff is so flowing :)

  • 78 people from New Orleans voted on this song.

  • Is that a harmonica??????? Man... normally i hate harmonica but holy heck! LEd Zep makes it work!

  • @jacobi2393 actually i believe jimmy page just tunes his guitar differently and plays differently then normal

  • led zeppelinebi :D

  • Led Zeppelin are so fucking good..
