  • Alex, it's great to see you here on the comment board! I hope all has been well!

  • this is pretty awseome. he was one of my councelers here in fl for a camp i went to over summer. :D

  • Coool..!! :))

  • Slick groove! I tried that a couple times, but it's tough to keep the shaker consistent. And I was just using an egg! Not a tree branch. :) LOL at the height of your right hand and the end. That thing must be heavier than it looks.

  • hey, thanks man!

it's definitely hard at first, but I recommend just practicing with shakers by themselves first. a HUGE part of why I play these types of grooves is due to my studies in percussion AWAY from the drum set.

Thanks again, man!.....and yes, that rainstick was heavy as hell! haha

  • WTF? jajaja my shake it's just 7 inches ...

  • tht stick is huuuuuuge haha! lovely hats, whats are u using?

  • haha, yeah that rainstick was definitely on the large side!

as for the hats...on all of the Deep Diner Studio sessions, I simply use what they have in the studio. I'll check what they are when I'm there next week and get back to you. As for my personal kit, I usually use 14" Zildjian K Constantinoples Hats.

    Glad you enjoyed the vid!
