I agree with the comment about Paul treating everyone like dirt. He`s never come across as sincere and used everyone he possibly could to get ahead in life. Saying that though I'm still a fan.
Paul's bestfriends to all of them like he's the most liked maybe because he smiles all the time takes sad things and makes it happy and stands up for people. I wish i were his friend that would be nice.
When they first began,Paul & George were actually closer. They rode the bus together to the same school. At George's first marriage,Paul was his best man.
Man this two made The Beatles interesting. I mean they had a complicated relationship but they seem like real brothers in the old days like they are really different but still like brothers. Like my cousin. He is like a brother to me and I miss him a lot even though we always argue about stuff .
"Ringo" fans.... In honor of Ringo's 70th, I hope U will check out my "RINGO"video. It's very retro with Beatleish touches & was done as a labor of love and with the utmost respect for the Fabs. My attempt at putting a little bit of the Beatle spirit out there for Beatle fans. It's also my tribute to George Harrison's slide playing as well as Ringo's unique style.
So,now you guys can stop arguing. They had a beautiful relationship that had its faults on both sides, but they cared about each other, and that's all that really counts
And also if you see the full scene of the arguement in the beginning of this clip you will see how Paul calms down after George says Well I'll play whatever you want me to play I won't play at all if you don' want me to play. Whatever it is you want, I'll do it because he sees how kind and amiable he is
But they did both love each other very much as brothers They knew each other since they were kids and grew up together and when George was sick in the hospital his last days Paul sat there for hours just stroking his handswatching George sleep(paul said it in an interview with Larry King)
During their working relationship in studio especially around1969 George started to get fed up Paul and John would focus on their songs When it came to work on Ringos or Georges they didnt put the effort they would as if it were theirs So sometimes George would not put in alot of enthusiasm or effort which made Paul impatient This caused some arguments and Im sure there were more for different reasons
Paul and George knew eachother the longest out of all of the beatles and I really believe that they were like brothers or even closer...they will always be in my heart. thankyou for this fantastic video!
I used to have a poster of the image at 1:31 (the one with Pete Best..and John was in it too) and I'll be darned if I can't find that image anywhere now. Anybody know anything about it? Might have been taken by Mike McCartney I'm not sure.
Great Video. It's really quite sad that two of THE Beatles are no longer around, it would be absolutely amazing to see them all together again.
But yeah I just wanted to say, that picture at 1:07,I know you cut it to make it just the two of them but I just wanted to say... I've totally got a poster of that whole photo of ALL of them on my bedroom wall!! And I was like, " AHHHH! I have that as a poster!!" Sad. Believe me, I know.
Yeah, it's a great poster of the guys! That picture is also on the cover of a book I'm reading called "Can't Buy Me Love: The Beatles, Britain, and America." I recommend it for anyone interested in their music and the culture that influenced the Beatles! Thanks for the feedback!
The clip is from the rehearsal sessions at Twickenham Studios for what eventually became the Let It Be documentary film. George basically says "OK, well I don't mind; I'll play whatever you want me to play. Or I won't play at all if you don't want me to play. Whatever it is that'll please you, I'll do it."
Paul was often critical of George's playing, and this clip gives you an idea of the tensions between George and Paul (the group in general was having problems though).
They didn't "hate" each other at the end. They had differences, as siblings will. The perfectionist, Paul, had differences with all his bandmates at one time or another.
This sure brings back warm memories. I must own every single album of the beatles. This video is very well put together. Thank you for sharing. 5 stars.
I really like this. Nice images put to a lovely song. I think it is a wonderful tribute to friendship as well as to George and Paul. I thought it was really creative how you used color around 1:07 and also the way you used the wavy, size changing effect in conjunction with the picture from the pschedelic times at 1:58. Nicely done!

The song was actually written by Paul about his relationship with Linda. It does seem like it's about his relationship with John but it's not.

Paul McCartney treated George Harrison like garbage as soon as the Beatles became popular and then never talked to him for more than a decade.
PrincessShittyBottom 2 years ago
thats not true.... when he died he said george was like a baby brother to him. go comment crap in a hole
paulmccartneyfan01 2 years ago
You are an accursed, deluded fool.
Paul McCartney never talked to George for over a decade. That is an utter fact. Just listen to the George Harrison interviews.
The reason that George and Paul began talking again in the mid 80s is because of George's own initiative.

Wrong. read a Paul McCartney biography.
