  • to see these men just "tear it up" and they were clean cut, clean-shaven, and not all tatt'd up just shows you you dont need all that crap. None of the so-called music today can touch this!

  • @27wingnut - YOU are SO right about everything you just said! :) Thanks for commenting.

  • OMG, the film does not have enough frames per second to capture Gene's hands in his solo. LOL!

  • Que genial!!

  • who is the autor in sing sing sing?

  • @draguir "Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing)" is a 1936 song, written by Louis Prima and first recorded by him with the New Orleans Gang and released in March 1936 as a 78rpm. It was NOT an instrumental! It had words and you can find it online. Look on Wikipedia. I like the original version, too! :) Because even the band members sing back.

  • @cubanbach @draguir also, Benny Goodman's REAL version is about 5 minutes long, but this version from the movie, HOLLWYOOD HOTEL had to be a shorter version for whatever reason. Look for it on that same link I suggested.

  • @cubanbach Nah, Benny's real version is 12 minutes long, and was recorded at Carnegie Hall!
