Larry King - Maybe it's semantics. I don't like Larry King. He's one of those media types that creates "SPIN". He seems like many of those who wear suits smokes a cigar and puts the cigar out on the next country we will invade. Then continue to play cards and cheats the men at his own table.
You're inept - the volume's so bad it almost blew my speakers. It always amazes me how often a lack of intellectual rigour is accompanied by the inability to perform simple tasks or to correct mistakes after they're discovered. @obaidkarki probably doesn't even notice how incredibly loud this is because he's too busy yelling garbled nonsense over the top of it.
i disagree with ron on the effectiveness of free market. without government regulation, the market, without fail, favours those who can manipulate the market the best.
@NATOvsENEMIES Regulations is a form of manipulation. Corporations through lobbying can manipulate the market. A free market free of regulations will be controlled by the will of the consumer. If a corporation decides to be unethical, e.g. Banks during the credit crisis, in a free market society they would have been punished by the free market (ie bankruptcy).
It's a funny thing... Spending enormous amounts of tax payers money to kill people somewhere else... Kind of socializing death... And on the other hand, failing to provide health care for all... Kind of socializing life...
PAY/STIMULUS BLOOD MONEY... FOR MORE HEALTHCARE WORKERS....LOSER PAY TORT REFORM...OUT MEDICAL WORKERS/FACILITES THAT ABUSE MEDICAID/MEDICARE - IRS sounds like a job for you!!!
The government lied us into a war in Iraq, that's killed around a million of INNOCENT people, it's hired paid murderers called contractors to work in Iraq, and it's stolen trillions of dollars to give to corporate criminals and made taxpayers (YOU) responsible to pay it back.
BUT
You certainly can trust this corrupt, murdering, thieving government with Health Care, right?
Oh, and you can control it. That's why the Iraq War is over, and Halliburton is out of business. RIGHT?
Are you sure people are evil, or is it possible when people are led by a psychopath like George Bush their (the people) going along with these agendas creates sociopaths (non- genetic psychopath) Were is the soul of America?
All of the economic morons who slam Dr. Paul need to read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Not that they'll get it, but everyone deserves the chance to be shown the error of their ways. After all, "As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly." Proverbs 26:11
Paul just sealed his fate with this.. The Healthcare System of the US is seen by the World as a failing system and his ducking around of the Corporatised problem keeps the Country with an Elitest Healthcare system.. Not everyone can get a Job, there is ALWAYS an Unemployment Gap in a Capatilist system.. How are those in that Gap get Healthcare without some Social help?
I think you should read some of his books and you will understand why the system he wants will be more open to people and people will help one another not like now when everyone expect government to do it.
More companies will exist also and that means more jobs for people.
The current system is a government ran system. We never had capitalism, so one can never say. There is no unemployment with capitalism. Unemployment only exists because the government takes the money away that would have paid your salary and gives it to their buddies. The "gap" exists much more in North Korea than it does in South Korea, with the only difference being how capitalistic/free the people are.
Free markets feed, clothe and shelter you. Governments starve, strip and bomb you.
the anti-free market is a totalitarian mentality. learn from history.
and I have read books... many of them, in fact... mises [dot] org provides many books that enlighten and inform, and i suggest you pay that site a visit
You have the Best Kool Aid that's for sure.. It is too expensive for the lower earners.
The WORLD Rankings show you to be in the 30's and backed by many ther reports around the World.. Don't be an utter denialist tool spouting Swarzeneggar catchphrases.

ron paul is dumb. lyndon johnson WAS right. you need to take care of people sometimes through govt. because private enterprise is interested only in eliminating risk for it's business ventures, not peoples health. the govt. being non profit based needs to be the sole contributor of healthcare providership
The government doesn't care about the people either, they only care about getting re-elected.
The only ones you can really trust to take care of yourself is yourself. And if you need help, privet enterprises seem better equipped to HELP you get what you need then the government.
Too Much Socialism can lead to an abuse of power, the same with Free Market Capitalism, it leads only to Big Corporations and Corporatism in general controlling our Politicians which we see now in America.. But a Capitalist System with a Socialist ideology of responsibility in the Market takes power away from the Corporations, the money trickles down to the lower earners and we all look out for one another through Socialised Healthcare etc.
Go Ron 2012!

Except you fail to realize (or forget) that the regulators are part of the problem, and not the solution. Look at what happened to Iceland.
