Capture Any Media File with Firefox's "DownloadHelper"

@PRowl27 Unfortunately I have not come across any Chrome addons like this. That's why I am stuck using 2 browsers (Firefox and Chrome). If a DownloadHelper-like addon comes out for Chrome I will definitely let you all know. Thanks!

Do you think someone could help me? Ever since youtube changed it's layout (adding the "reactions" thing and the new playlist) Downloadhelper hasn't let me download anything but FLV files from here, and I need MP4 file. Has anyone else had this problem?

@littlemollymouse Hmm that is weird because I was able to download MP4's from YouTube a few days ago but now they are all showing up at FLV files like you said. Hopefully it's just temporary. You can always use Format Factory to convert the FLV's to MP4's. I did a tutorial video on how to do it.

there SHOULD be a mini-downloadhelper there, and that one should have the arrow :)

how do you get it onto your ipod. I have used frostwire(limewire) and I got all of the homeshared songs onto itunes. From there it won't go onto m ipod. Since its itunes and I downloaded it from that website for free I can't get help from them. The ipod will synch but not the homeshared songs only the songs I bought off of itunes. @islandsnow79 YouTube only has videos. You can download the video and then convert it to an MP3, thus giving you the ability to turn anything on YouTube into a song :)

So I already downloaded two firefox programs to my computer but not the latest one. See I tried to install the newest one so get the video helper but it didnt work so I tried uninstalling the previous downloads of frirefox buht they wouldnt uninstall. My computer has very low disk space so I have to constantly delete things because the disk I have doesnt offer much space I have tried many programs nd ended up deleting them because they didnt work neither does this but idk how to fix it Help Me .

You know what is wierd... ive downloaded 4 songs so far that had "blah_blah_blah.mpeg" saved them as "SongTitle.mp3" and they saved as mp3's that run on itunes........... so yeah... whatever that means.

But right now ive run into some issues, ive tried to download 3 other songs the same way and it just says "starting....." in the firefox download box and doesnt change..... Help?

HELP!!!!.........OK look. i delete 2 folders that had music in them and created another folder. Ever since that i cant use download helper to save the music. i took it out the recycle bin but its too late now. every time i click on the song i want its says zero bytes and wont load up. i moved the FFOutput folder to my desktop as well if thats the problem too. @MsZumbachick You shouldn't have to download an XPI file at all. Make sure you are using Firefox and in your Firefox Google search bar just search for "downloadhelper addon". It will be the first result and you just have to click on the green "Add to Firefox". It will ask you if its ok to install it then it will restart firefox and that's all you have to do
