  • Matt Sorum - Guns N' Roses 2012 rock and roll hall of fame!!!

  • SWEET, SOUL, SISTA PUSHHIN TALLADONE

  • Bei ricordi a casa di Angiulino.............REVOLUTION

  • this dude was simple but a very good guitar player

  • "shake yo ass, watch yo'self!" think what you like but Ian is a funny guy

  • A real blast from the past !

So many good memories for sure !

  • titties not bombs?

  • Sorry, dude, nothing wrong with reinvention... THAT IS WHY ROCK WILL NEVER DIE!!! LOL!!! Rock on, baby bro... : )

  • I love the humor!!!!!!!!!

  • Heard the hits back in the day but never followed this band. Recently recorded this concert (out of curiosity) on my local concerts channel and was so impressed by the power and simplicity of this music. Reading the posts they are no doubt past their prime but could still kick it back in 2001. Now I just want to learn everything about them and their journey!

  • nao gostei do jeito dele cantar, parecido um rapper.

  • Bahaha, Shake your ass watch yourself?? No way Ian just said that....

  • Great song but terrible vocals.

  • @quincy555 Terrible vocals!!, i agree!!!

  • This is what I imagine it would sound like if Gary Busey was to sing, actually Ian is starting to look a lot like Gary and what is more his rambling at the end of this song also reminds me of a drug fucked Gary. Uncanny resembalance.

  • @tubbybasset lmao..omg now that you mention it , yeah ;P

  • Bass player misses it at 1.10...Great track though

  • @ griffaen

This song is from the early 90's. That phrase was from then. Thanks for understanding that he is an icon. But understand that he said that almost 20 years ago. Also look at the Rolling Stone review of this album. Nothing silly about this guy. When he says "this is where it all ends" he was right. One of the greatest rock records of all time. Bone up on yer shit kid. The Cult are amazing. No hard feelings. Just research and know yer stuff before you comment.

  • @cabinetgod360 I don;t have to "bone up" I am 50 years Old. The Cult was one of My favorite Bands when They , and I were in My prime. I was a Guitarist in a Heavy Metal Band from the mid 70's until the mid 90's I know what I'm talking about. It isn't Rocket Science. Listen to Sonic Temple which was released in 89, and then look at this Vid. Anyone Who follows Ian knows He has changed His look. From Death Cult to Now. Most of Us prefer the Old Ian to "rapper" Ian. ;)

  • Holy Crap Matt Sorum makes it so complete just ge Jamie Stewart and the song would be Money!

  • his great voice is gone.. .sadly...

  • These guys rock.. but wtf.... can't he carry a note anymore? Any garage band could just shout "sweet"... "soul"..."sister". Hell I could do that. disappointing.

  • jim morrison lives through this guy

  • enough from all the Astbury haters...

I think we can all agree he's better in the studio (who isn't) but his talent is still coming thru big time on stage.

and... A 40 Year Old Rock Icon trying to remake himself into a "Brotha" (quote below)

    who cares!

  • Probably my favorite The Cult song ever! Saw them in concert last year in Boston but unfortunately they didn't play this song. Hope they play it next time I see them...

  • Man I really hate the way he's singing the song, not smooth at all, ruins it for me.

  • @bigtwit

i aggree...him and david lee roth...kinda ruins the concert for me....thanks i paid 80 dollars to hear you recite the lyrics.....good thing im high!

  • I love this band, this rock singer, ....the best rock band on the planet!!!!!!

  • suicidal tendencies?

  • I dig it that this band is still around after all of these years. I wore out their cassette tapes in high school playing them so much. Now at 40 they are still doing what they do best and I get their quality on CD now....awesome.

  • Hafta say, Ian's voice is long gone, ya can't keep up those high notes for 15 years..

  • He is a superstar. Best hard rock act ever!

  • Seminal moment: 3 weeks after 9/11. I'm not too crazy about the 'white rap boy' transformation, but the Cult will always kick ass.

  • "All the Hip Young Pimps"? A 40 Year Old Rock Icon trying to remake himself into a "Brotha" is not cool sorry. The Band is great! Ian is a little silly...

  • @Griffaen I feel the same way. Like he is trying to re-brand himself and his music into current Pop Culture. Disappointing to watch.

  • @Griffaen Totally!

  • @Griffaen He wrote that line 20 yeaqrs agto..Shows how "silly" you are..He was way ahead of these young punks now who think pimp is their new word..lol

  • @trevLV Um....sorry There My Friend....the original verse He wrote 20 years ago was "All the hip young things

    Trying to make a scene

    Living out forbidden dreams"

    Google it!

    Silly You! ;)

  • @Griffaen My point was,so he changed 1 word......

  • @trevLV I hear Ya Man, and Your opinion is valued. I'm just an Old School Rocker and watching One of My Old Rock Hero's Hip Hoppin around like that is just offensive and silly to Me. No offense intended to You :)

  • @Griffaen

Is he trying to be a rapper or what?

  • dude its just a guy dressed up in more current clothing ,what do u want him to do look like hes still in the 80s ,people would be laughing at them , hes wearing comfortable work out clothes ,why dont you try running around on stage in heavy leather clothing and not only that being laughed at over it ,shut your mouth, the cult is awesome ,

  • living out forbidden dreams....

  • He needed to hold the chorus notes longer tbh, but other than that fuckin BRILLIANT!

    long live The Cult!

  • ??

Ian sounds great here. I will disagree with ALL of you people here. I was just thinking the contrary, he sounds MUCH better in this decade than in the 90's or the 80's.. .Ian you sound awesome

    Suzi

  • odviously Ian's voice capacity isnt what it was....song's still kick ass, but I agree they dont have the life they used to.....if they continue to perform, maybe they shouldnt be afraid to use some of the technology available today to aid a little in the background.

  • cool

  • Ian, man sorry that sucked big time..... I saw you in Vancouver touring with Sonic Temple and you boys kicked it big time.... pretty lame now. Gotta know when to stop......

  • i really love the cult but ian's voice sounds so shit in this song

  • Sounded good until they got to the chorus and he didn't sing with any sustain. What's up with that? No background vocals either.

  • Could not agree more. they ruined the whole chorus i hate when bands dont sing all the words or change it.

  • The singer destroyed this performance. Ouch! Sucked all the energy out of the song.

  • I agree. Give me the link to 1 of your platinum albums on Amazon or your band's site Rawk Dood!

  • This is is a great song, but the vocals are disappointing.

  • I like The Cult but they just don't deliver live. It seems like they are just walking through the set.

  • I think part of it is that the Cult has always been a duo.

Hard to get a band chemistry rocking when you just have hired guns.

Having said that, when you're front row at a show, Ian is LIVING it.

Billy has never been a showman, since day 1.

  • Did he open with "All the hip young Pimps"?? WTF is he having an identity crisis and trying to play a Crip?

Bad makeover image...looks stupid, like he is trying to revive his career playing to the hip hop crowd.

Billy is awesome as usual though.

  • I'm just wondering how can Ian record albums and do this job when he is not able to sing?? This is awful! You better go and do something else if you're not able to do you job the best possible way. He's dissapointing his fans...

  • Cincy Oh USA 2008...Bogarts... bad to the fuckin bone ...

  • i didnt know Matt Sorum re joined after GnR

  • asoum song gooo cult

  • To all those media whore... present to you, THE CULT get rockin auld mate!!!

  • Whats with the 'shake yo ass watch yo'self, danger!' Ian does?! He comes out with the most random stuff during gigs, haha.

  • Totally agree with carlos - the chorus is the "hook" in this song... and he just doesn't perform it. VERY disappointing.

  • Que tema que banda!!!!

  • One of the best songs by The Cult!

  • yeahhhh!!!!!!!FAN ARGENTINA

  • Yoooo THE BEST !! FAN POLAND

he can't sing tuned to the studio version when presenting liveshows. It is clear through the chorus (the best part of that music), when he can't stand the same pitch.

  • cmq sabs q ele n quis fazer msm assim? ficaria melhor a prolongar a voz mas n sabs se nao csg

  • ele nunca consegue, ao vivo
