@brandonfiend Ive been playing for 9 months and already had the experience of owning a taylor 414ce, takamine ltd 97, martin omcpa1, fender american standard strat, gibson sg standard, charvel model 6 etc. Learn to make money off of it. I started with a epiphone lp standard I bought off my friend for 180, the only other addition money I spent was for a capo and picks.

I have refinished, setup, changed pots, caps, pups, also the nut. I'm glad you set up a image of my by just reading a few words cause it makes me try and improve on first impressions. I'm mostly looking into bracing patterns right now.

@YordanRBlackmore pretty sure there's more to making music than just tuning it up. learning "turn this knob until the tuner's needle points here" is minor and won't make anyone a Clapton, and skipping it won't change it either. it might actually be good cuz he'll always hear things IN tune, and not "ah, forgot to tune it but they're all off by 38 cents so it's good enough and still in relative tune". being OUT of tune might be really noticeable to him later on.
