Really never understood the purpose of this match finish. It made Regal look stupid (which his character definitely isn't), and it didn't exactly make Christian look like a credible champion either, to get a 'sneaky win' and then have the shit kicked out of him. Was also a really nonsensical thing to do on a PPV, especially one as big as SummerSlam, since people would have been paying money to see an actual match between the two of them. Any thoughts, anyone?
