This was helpful- do you think you can put an edition up with it going a bit slower? It would be a great asset for beginners to view. Thank you for taking the time to post this!
Well, I have a mac so when I'm done with an Artrage picture I go to file and export the image to my iPhoto library. I don't know if you have a mac or not but if you don't maybe you can export to another picture program...Hope I helped a little. :)
Thanks. No, but I am considering it. Since I switched to Ubuntu Linux, ArtRage quickly replaced OpenCanvas as my primary painting program, but I haven't checked out the community for it yet.
I think you'll find that the forums there are very receptive to new comers (or users of the program who have never posted, in this case). The community has grown greatly in the past few months. They have also added a gallery space for us to use. I use the same name there as I do on Youtube, so feel free to browse for my gallery.
I've used CamStudio to record myself using ArtRage, with pretty good results. It's a free download for windows, and has a lot of options which you can set (highlight/hide cursor, quality, fullscreen or region recording, and sound on/off).
Thanks! I painted it in one session, cycled the undo levels until I had the blank canvas, set the screen recording to start in Camstudio, and held down the keystroke for redo until the painting cycled to finished again.

Why is it so blurry? Refine some edges, and you should paint with reference if you only remember that much detail.
