@maneatingpoptart you have to use 20 plus pound test if you dont want those baits snappin on a cast. And trust me cranking a 10 pounder to the boat is a fkn rush on a swimbait! Theres nothing like it. my average bass i catch now are between 4 and 7 pounds every since i started chuckin swimbaits

this is lake casitas but it doesent mean this bait works all year around every day they were there right after a heavy trout stock and they knew where the fish were and why and how to catch them u can throw a swimbait or a top water lunker like that all day and not catch anything

Hmmm for the 9 inch punker go with 25 pound mono or 80 pound braid whatever one you like. I like the mono cuz of the stretch. I tie direct like all my baits.. Have fun and catch a donkey!!
