I don't think you can really compare Perry to Augeri because they are both really good in different ways. For instance: Perry is the only singer I ever want to hear sing "Faithfully" because those powerful ballads are his expertise. But I would rather hear "Anyway you want it" sung by Augeri. But to each his own.

I LOVE Neal's extended solo in this version. This was a great lineup too; it's a shame they let Augeri go permanently, he was awesome. Good thing they still have Deen on drums.

But he can't hit the high notes and the kinda emotions and mood he brings into the song is so different.
