I saw this going to Chicago on AA in July of '11 and it made me really on egge. Don't know why, because the flight was great. I did think we were going to crash into Catalina Island while turning, though. (I'm kinda nervous about flying.)

aircraft age has noting to do with safety.AA is where BA was twenty years ago,the last time i flew BA on both trips as we left our seats the pilot used the intercom to thank passengers for flying BA saying "we know you have a choice" Thats about the only thing everyone in AA needs to remember be they greeting a bus

"Normal" people who have no clue about the industry, unions, etc. crack me up with their opinions about "customer" service and the like. If so many are flight attendants are angry, don't you think there might be a reason? What you're witnessing is a group of people who have been lied to by their management and are refusing to perform for them. They love their jobs. They simply don't trust those in charge. Once they hire better corporate managers, you'll see a difference.

Hey American, great vid. Please do NOT make the same mistake United did in getting rid of their tulip logo. KEEP THE AA red/white/blue scheme with the ICONIC AA logo on the tail.  I love flying your airline and feel proud to be an American when seeing that red/white/blue stripes on a gleaming metal fuselage. Like a fine wine, your logo and aircraft scheme has only gotten BETTER with age.

I just got off a flight on AA. This video is hilarious when it is compared to the grouchy flight attendents who looked they escaped from a nursing home. Nice video nonetheless.

AA really needs to do something about their employees. The ones I saw, on the ground and in the air, they didn't cAAre.

The reality is that no one would really believe this video when juxtaposed next to a large majority of the unhappy flight attendants on the flight itself, but it's a nice touch nonetheless.

Unfortunately, most consumers know it's strictly business when it comes to the airline industry. Passengers are numbers and revenue-- nothing else.

On an unrelated note, please get rid of those MD-80s! I keep hearing how they're being replaced by 737s, but I've yet to fly on an AA 737.
