I tried to update this phone to Android 2.3 and it some how was updating and completed the update via LG Mobile Support Tool but when it completed it didnt do nothing, it actually did some weird things like when I double tap the home button the home menu wont shrink, or if I am all the way on the other right side of the home pages and if I click the home button - it wont go to the middle smoothly like smooth scrolling - instead it just snaps right into the middle.I tried to reset it but nothing.

I am getting this phone here in Canada as soon as possible. The stock for this phone on WIND mobile has been horrible, it is selling like CRAZY. The WIND version runs STOCK android 2.2.2 and is upgradeable to 2.3.3. I have heard about issues with the screen "bleeding" a little but at least here with WIND they allow you to return it within 12 days or so. The most important thing is that this is a unlocked boot dualcore android phone, ready for rooting and custom roms and kernels!

@Ivan97NBGD Buy LG Optimus 2X is cheaper and faster than sony ericsson xperia arc. LG has dual core and sony ericsson has single core processor. I bought my LG optimus 2X last week and didn't have any problems with the mobile.

@motorruben The battery life is ok, it can hold from 1-2 days if you don't call people a lot with it. The battery life is the same as any other smartphone on the market, but I recommend to disable wifi and bluetooth when you are not using the phone. in conclusion the battery is not bad;)
