my friends and i went to that same beach two days ago, and found at least 50 of them. they were all over the beach, couldnt walk 2 feet without finding them. we figured that they were babies, so maybe its like a seasonal thing?

(it was South Padre Island, Texas in case your wondering) and i was playing with some jellyfish that washed up onto the beach. i picked one up with a pail and its tentacles came off and wrapped around my arms. Even though the jellyfish was dead, the tentacles still stung. And it hurt like hell :/
