Delta's seats look great! That looks like a 737-800 series that your on. Great IFE and leg room. Even in Delta's economy you get great legroom and IFE entertainment. And WIFI on lots of aircraft!!!!

Legroom on US Domestic first class on, say 2 hr flights, is nothing compared with F or C cabins on Asian carriers on similar distances.

In Asia it's not uncommon to be on a 747 with FCY cabins on a 1 hour flight.

But still in the US it's way better than C-cabins on European flights. A320's and 737's generally still have a 3-3 config with an unoccupied centre seat as only difference with Economy and then they ask ridiculous high fare for it.

It's First class on a domestic Boeing 757. First class is not glamorous anymore because the majority of people seated there are on free upgrades in honor of their loyalty to a particular carrier. The bigger seat and free drinks is about the only perk anymore. International Business Elite is definitely nice especially on a Boeing 777, lot's of space!

First class is a joke on *any* American airline... They shouldn't be allowed to call it that, since it's essentially just business class, but they want it to sound fancy. What they call business elite (on international flights) is quite a bit better. But to really fly in style, you need to fly on a foreign airline that still offers true first class, such as Emirates, Singapore, even BA still has it on a few flights...

You don't know what you are talking about. It sounds like you're referring to the Business Class, or even Premium Economy, in which case they do have the same seats, but provide better service. I kno won AF at least they don't allow anyone to sit in the middle seats in the business class section, which is nice. I have no problem with that--you don't need a seat that big unless you have an American-sized ass anyway. That's why the Europeans don't have them. :)

well im pretty sure on most delta flights using 757s will be refurbished ( so new leather seats). There are many variations of the aircraft because of the refurbishments and the different routes 757s are used for. there is one 757 that has businesselite, which is international business. for domestic flights you would most likely be on a 757 "2-class" which does not have a personal TV. the 757 "transcon" has the same pitch and width with fairly newer seating and the new AVOD touchscreens.

okay transcon is the same as international and if you ore going to oh say paris and you have a connection flight from london to paris it may be a delta 757 Transcon which has the AVOD in the back of the seats but delta is confusing so you may be on an EX-TWA VER 2 which has the businesselite with greater pitch and more recline. now domestic is intercontinental i.e. ATL-JFK and transcon is 1 COUNTRY to another and sadly the flight to hawaii is domestic. any more questions?

i checked a flight scheduele and you will be on a 757 2-class and as of jun 08 you will not have a PTV in coach or economy, but you may be on a plane shown above if your flight is a connection flight for other people

yes you are correct the 2-classes have been updated without personal tvs but flights on 757s are usually short and no. delta rolled out the trim leather seating around 2003 and PTVS went into the seats in 2002 in businesselite

There are no plans to retrofit all of the 757-200's with PTV's in the foreseeable future, but they'll probably have to do so in the next few years to keep up with foreign competitors.

Yea the 757-200 ETOPS (Transcontinental) is a nice plane... They go from JFK to LGW and SNN and also you can find them to Atlanta like in this video. The only thing is that this might be a different variation because most 757-200 transcontinental (ETOPS) have business class not first class, which means this might be a Previous Song plane that was re venerated... I know a lot about this airline as my father has worked for them for 27 years We fly on stand-by for free all the time!!!
