  • just discovered this song, its pure energy

  • always loved this song....great energy and beats!

  • Reminds me of the clubs in the garage ... big hug Tony and Jony Belinaso... long Life friends...

  • Great video, thanks to have posted. One question: the song that starts at 4.29 is always From Here to Eternity, or an 'other?

If it is a 'what else' is its title?

    Thank you.

Sorry I do not speak English using Google Translate.

  • @donzaukerful . It is also part of "From Here to Eternity".

  • @donzaukerful hi, its the same song, i suspect he used up bits of tune that he laying about if you know what i mean.he was always writing songs for people, like any trade, you get bits left over, his craft is to weave them together and form a song.

  • Essa música é muito antiga e parece que foi feita ontem...rsrsrs...Lembro-me dela quando era criança nos anos 70...From here to eternity...Depois ele produziria a Donna Summer...

  • GTAAAA xD

  • This is not disco dude, this is the transition times of the change between disco and technodance called technodisco. This guy has a brilliant mind in very early times of the electronic music like many other like Michael Jarre, Gino Soccio and specially one of my favorites "Bobby Orlando" and many others changed complete the musical history forever. All this guys are the dad's or the actual Trance music.

Thank you to all of them.

  • This is the only guy that can make a hit song without him saying anything. All he has to do is look badass in the music video.

  • Girogio Moroder was W-A-A-Y ahead of his time for this sound! I remember they used to play this in discos late at night back in the 70s...We liked the song, but many of us would sit down because we thought it was a bit too fast and didn't know how to dance to it! Ha!

  • @mrob75 just wait to you hear speedcore :P

  • @mrob75

Hehehe! Little did you know, eh! :D

  • Awesome Georgio Moroder tune

  • What's the name of the song at 4:55 ? Is this taken from a dj set?

  • @martininfj Song name is "Utopia-me Giorgio"

  • Comment removed

  • Luzacka muzyka wprawia w dobry nastrój. OK !

  • Moroder's a genius. I think this featured briefly in The Stud or The Bitch. Notice the guy voguing there? That's a full 13 YEARS before Madge's song/video.

  • I didn't notice that until now. Cool

  • analog synth heaven

  • damn it i love this guy

  • DISCO STILL ALIVE,A BIG CLASIC .....

  • @lobitouno disco? lol..

  • Superb seventies Rightness. If Giorgio re-released this today it would make the Top 10 and be a clubland hit again.

  • @CaptainCouncil

Absolutely. The guy was way ahead of his time. I was so surprised to find that this is from the mid 70s!

  • @CaptainCouncil yepp, you're absolutely right !!!

  • the girl dancing in this video is sooooo sssseeexxxxy damn!!!!...and has rhythm tooo.excellent.

  • lots of patches

  • scorchio!

  • um kraftwerk tangerine dream human league were all more electronic than this

    still good tho

  • How can this be less electronic? it's all electronic..lol what do you think all those cables are going to. It's called analog which was what they had back then...however kraftwerk is the business but Giorgio gave us the italo disco rythems

  • this is where all modern electro music started folks.

  • I am glad i found this one, i thought it was a cerrone track. Of course it 's classic georgio Moroada

  • genius

  • MASTERPIECE

  • Es el creador del tecno, del damce. LO MAXIMO

  • ...grandissimo Giorgio....tra l altro originario del mio paese....pezzo storico,suoni eterei,siderali...

  • liberty city stories!

    flashback fm

  • yep! first time i hear this song

  • excelente video, buena cancion, buen ritmo, grande giorgio moroder, saludos desde Chile.

  • THIS IS THE ONLY VIDEO FOR THIS SONG.

  • this album set the bench mark for disco music check out all the great donna summer album her last by giorgio is a classic i was there

  • I'm amazed, this doesn't sound at all like the 70's. it could be from last year. Great album!

  • This is what *REAL* disco was about before it went mainstream and was cartooned by the masses...it was electronica/trance before that genre of music had a name...

  • it was 1977 - part of a full side-long suite from LP of same name. The LP credits noted "only eledtonic keyboards were used in this recording"- great album - this hissy crunchy mp3 is only wothy 'cause the video is attached.

  • When I first heard this Album, back in elementary school, it amazed me. The first true disco Album. Yes, the Father of disco.

  • Hey,is it orginal 70's clip?I like Giorgio Moroder a lot, maybe its not so deep like other music that i like, but he had some incredible talent.Father of disco, you know!his music was so orginal at the time....

  • FLASHBACK FM!

  • er...you mean PCP right?

  • like all the songs on flashback are giorgio on psp

  • This album is dope--you should get the remastered CD on Hip-O-Select. It's pretty cool--they made the CD packaging like a little LP. It's a complete reproduction of the original album. Complete with a mini 'record sleeve' for the CD!

  • i found it on GTA to its on Flashback FM

  • Like this one a lot. How did I get to hear it when I wasn't even born when it was released? There's a game called Grand Theft Auto-Liberty City Stories. One of the radiostations plays this kind of music. I listened to it while studying for my exams. What surprised me is how good it sounded 30 years after being released.

  • absolutely right

  • Hot , sounds like giorgio's soundtrack for a porno movie with the ABBA girls doing back up vocals

  • What a woooonderfuuull music video! :D

  • this proves even in 70's there used to be superb disco tracks with futuristic electronic sounds!! amazing track, no doubt!!

  • LMAO!!

  • unforgettable and wonderful song

  • Giorgio is 'the guy'. He produced 'from Donna Summer to Nina Hagen'!

    Where is he?

  • 'the chase' is his better track IMO.

  • -- High energy...? Disco ..?? I don't care it's a perfect song. The Best, for me og Giorgio; Danke Germany..From Mexico City.

  • Giorgio Moroder is a genius..

    Boas saudades ...

  • One of the best of the High-Energy-Sound!

    Super!

  • Giorgio revolutionized pop music and has given us all-time classics. Tks for posting this!

  • o video é flash back mas a cançao é inesquecivel...

  • Timeless brilliantly

  • What a classic! thanks for posting

  • 30 years , man to be so good

  • absolutely great completely avantgarde.

  • I don`t even know if there was a clip for this masterpiece in 77, but it doesn`t matter, this song is timeless! At the end, when the song changes, it becomes "Faster than the speed of love" in the original album sequence.

    Great!

  • This is the original , a Master Piece in music history ,Long Live this song

    Funkydome

  • Great to hear this again. It's always been a bit too Euro for me but that didn't stop me from buying the album. Thanks.

  • Many thanks for uploading this great music.

  • i think this is the origional

  • This track is timeless, the wonder of Moroder at his finest!

  • This is a great song

  • I have the album and the original track is like 15 minutes long or something like that...

  • Has the track been remixed or was this the original"

This is the original 1977 album version, no remixing. One remix I do love of it though, is the Danny Tenaglia mix in 2000.

  • king moroder!

  • Great!!! thank you

  • Has the track been remixed or was this the original, if it was left untouched then it was a piece well ahead of its time!!

  • Actually some of his non-electronic disco productions were early House music, luvMachine. Donna Summer's "Spring Affair" (1976) was House music. Giorgio's brilliance as a dance music producer was not limited to electronic music.

  • Doesn't anyone else think the woman dancing is Donna Summer? It's hard to tell because you never get a really good look at her face, but the glimpses you do see of her look a lot like Donna.

  • i'm hearing you mavos - not much is original these days

  • This isn't the original video... I think its a load of clips taken from a documentary on Disco that was shown in the UK sometime in the 90s...

    Great to see it though..

  • The guy in the orange top and the white shorts... hilarious!!! Great video!

  • the dogs b*llocks.genius..... wtf is "goldfrapp"?!?!?!

  • You can bet that this is what Goldfrapp was listening to when they were making their latest release, this and Cerrone... What a fabulous song... This guy's incredible.

  • Holy cow... teenage memories!

  • Is the man in white suit Moroder himself? I never saw him.

  • Yes, that´s him. He invented house music. This Track is from 1977 one year later Kraftwerks Man Machine appeared.

  • you Dip!... Giorgio did not invent House Music! House music started at the Warehouse in Chicago in the late 70's early 80's. Giorgio is known as one of the originators of electronic dance music.
