  • PANTERAAAAAAA!!!

  • IDDQD all the way

  • ep 1 - this, and ep9 = best :P

  • Pantera - Rise

    True story.

  • KKIIIIILLLL EEVVVERRYYYYY MONSTER ZOMBIE AND CYBERNETIC THING IN SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHTTTTTTT

  • best music in doom ever

  • @xTerminator4591x Agreed.

  • I can hear a clear influence of unsung by helmet, and rise by pantera in this song.

  • @mackaus1 Yeah, when I heard it I remembered of "Rise" too. Awesome!

  • -we made a break for it-

-to save ammo,we used our blades to slay the demons an zombies-

Coco: theres another safe house ahead!

Kyler: Good girl! were gonna make it!

-we aproached,Coco screamed in pain from a couple of demons that snagged her leg-

    Kyler:COCO!!!!!

-i turned around, threw my sword at the demon an hit his face, then pulled out my two pistols an shot the other 12 demons behind her, then grabbed her an ran for the safe house, got in safely an used some of the meds to heal her-

  • IDKFA???

  • @Fergo87

    idspispopd???

  • I could eat burnt eyeballs to this

  • @DreddMega No you misread what I said, They do fucking rock :D I'm just disappointed that the music couldn't be original.

  • The level was Command Control. It's a take from Rise by Pantera. John Carmacks original idea was to have hardcore metal through the whole game, but after Bobby Prince made it clear that metal every level wouldn't fit the worlds environments, only a few metal songs were used.

I'm gonna go play some Doom now.

  • @SashiDegodeshi I didn't knew that they planned exactly this (btw I don't know Pantera very much but sorta like them - so as this Doom-track), but I think I've heard some Slayer in Doom1's very first level (sounded like Behind the crooked cross) and also on another level (in the first or the second game) (that one sounded like South of Heaven) Maybe they made an easy job getting their songs - as I know Pantera, Slayer and ID are from Texas - sorta' home-boys of each other :). And trash bros! \m/

  • this is a remix of Rise by Pantera, I was shocked when I heard about it but sadly its true...

  • Doom is the best game ever created, you dont know the value of games unless you have played doom, call of duty or any other game can never match doom, its not about graphics, its about the quality, too bad people will forget that.

But my favorite part is the face of doom guy when he picks up a gun, i find myself doing the same thing >:).

  • @DeathMarine4810 everytime he picks up a weapon he always knows hes gonna pwn the monsters.

  • @clang220 Damn Right, >:)

  • nothing but doom tracks on my highlight film this season hahaha this is awesome

  • DOOM is one of the best games ever. It deserves to be up there on any "best of" list.

it started a whole new era in video games and its sad people will forget about DOOM.

  • damn this song takes me back im totaly going to play doom again.

Yea the music is HardCore of that Era lol

  • is it just me or does this sound like the guitar riff in pantera's "rise"

  • @mishka133 yes it does

  • Three Musician that did do awesome job on video game would have to be Trent Reznor for his Doom and Quake Series, Dave Mustaine aka Megadeth for doing the Duke'Em theme (check it out) and Number one in my list! and this would say a lot to people Yngwie malmsteen for doing the Castlevania Nintendo Series look for his song call "Far Beyond the Sun" tell me if that familiar at all.

  • Comment removed

  • damn reading all of your comments i bet we could make a new doom haha and have it be 10 times better lol

  • 10 people are n00bs!

  • 10 poor fucks was molested by imps and gave this thumbs down.

  • "DooM" would be a good game even without any music to me :)

  • hrm. this is not the original it sounds very remastered...

  • @Composer1777 totaly agreed

  • IDSPISPOPD!

  • Robert Prince still ruling the compo ;-)

  • Beats Modern Horseshit 2 any day of the week

  • @ToH1183 u mean modern whore fire 1 2 3 ? i agree lol

  • its fuckin pantera!!!!

  • This song is amazing.

  • i LOVE that doom music and if you know this one i like summer nights

  • Just got the game again from Xboxlive Marketplace. Man! I head bang to this song so hard!

  • [insert headbang here]

  • YES!

  • great track, but the quality of this music is shit

  • i think so...as a matter a fact .... i im listening to and i think the qualaty is awsome...why do you think the quality suck personaly i think its your computer.^_^.

  • A lot of the songs are strongly based off of metal songs, Level 1 is Behind The Crooked Cross by Slayer.

  • dang im missin' out!

  • IDKFA!!!!!!

  • @lahnaclannb Dont forget about the other cheats

  • FUCK YAAA

  • IDDQD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @gefallt That will make you invincible

  • PANTERA!!!!!!!!

  • Why the fuck dont they have great music like this in games anymore.

  • i dont know man i just dont know the sad thig is that the good music i can think of other than this game is bayonetta and devil may cry..jesus isnt that sad!?(tell me what you think.^_^)

  • Gotta agree Bayonnetta has some sick songs. It actually has some really shitty j-pop annoying music and some great epic tunes that match the whole angel/god theme.

  • ^_^ hi i gave you a smile for no reason...thanx for tellin' me what you think!

  • @IamAlwaysRight because they make better music for games of today :/

  • @EvilManProductions I hope you're joking, the music in Doom is far better than any music today.

  • @IamAlwaysRight i know,it saddens me when ever a game has potential but botches it with either,no music or the music doesn't get you into the feeeling :(

  • @IamAlwaysRight. Brutal Legend.

  • @IamAlwaysRight yeah music for games SUCK nowtheres olny musick that makes you tired or just retarded music scarry musick doent help this musick gives you energy its what makes me a kick ass player (uppercliff xbox live)

  • @IamAlwaysRight i know exactly what you meen.

  • @IamAlwaysRight Killing Floor is the first game to have music this good since doom wow

  • @IamAlwaysRight its a goddamn shame that they don't.

  • @IamAlwaysRight they do, its called halo

  • @IamAlwaysRight because they focus on CRAPhicks and ´´story´´ mostly

I like the DOS ... damn me and my DOS graphicks .. well i like old pixel graphicks alot so idk why the focus on graphicks so much.,..

  • @IamAlwaysRight The new Splatterhouse. 'Nuff said.

  • @IamAlwaysRight bc the old games were made by artists, now its all corporate controlled bullshit, they dont care about the music, just cool graphics and shooting

  • See what they do for doom is that they tried to make it sound good for its time and the music that fits the game style, Thats the same thing on what they did for doom 2,doom3, and doom 3 ROE.

  • @IamAlwaysRight because they dont use Midi's anymore

  • oh man foom was the shit i stil play it

  • this is exactly rise by panters the second riff is identical

  • HEADBANG!!!!!

  • Oh this brings back memories!! mostly good

  • Sounds like Pantera. Good vibes. Reminds me of the old days :)

  • I used to play Doom 2 using LOTS of cheats when i was 7. I only had the first chapter of Doom1 and couldn't play Doom 3 due to immense fright. They were all fucking awesome. Hope I don't get scared enough for keeping myself from playing Doom 4... I'm a pussy, I know XD

  • harcore bro makes me hella wanna play som DOOM

  • Delicious nostalgia.

  • This theme sounds so fucking badass on real guitar, thx for uploading it 5/5

  • me encantaaaaa!

  • anyone else think this sounds like panteras rise? obviously rispse hit on it i was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not doom used some music from metal bands and tweaked em a little bit?

  • Lots. I think saying that -every- Doom and Doom 2 song being based off of a metal song is a stretch, but a lot of them were.

Watch this video for a lot of them:

    watch?v=-IXNpPhfk1s

  • RISE

  • In doom 3, the alien race created teleportation tech, which they realized too late, basically slingshots the passengers through hell and back. The problem was left unknown, and eventually the gates of hell broke loose and through the holes teleporters made in the fabric of reality, demons poured through, and fiery skulls that made zombies of the voodoo variety. anyway, irrelevant, Doom is awesome.

  • Great song, great game!

  • is there anywhere i could download this music or get it

  • bitchin'

  • badass i love this song in the game =)

  • I wish there was more shooters like The Ultimate Doom where you just have to shoot hordes of badass demons down to badass music. >:(

  • when i was little kid i always saw the player in that picture holding guitar xD =PP

  • lool:D Doom rock band version

  • :D yeah

  • holy.... crap...

    this is not a remix.

    id software, damn geniouses.

it's sad they sold out to another company

    :(

  • Yeah. Didn't they get bought out by Zenimax/Bethesda?

What a bummer. Bethesda is such a glutton, just devouring all the franchises around it.

  • well it is good it wasnt EA at least

  • i would cry. i really would

  • OM NOM NOM

  • ID software DID get bought out by Bethesda. I bet the head of ID will be saying to the manager of FO4:NV,"Hey, let's add a Big F**king Gun!"

  • Holy shit I love chex mix.

  • Lmao

  • @KayloMaster I love ID software, they have worked with Apogee those times. It' so sad to see that's Apogee not exist anymore D: it's MUCH better than any gay Valve with their un-fun plagian such as l4d or what ever they do nowdays. DOOM NEVER DIE!!!!

  • @MaxRideWizardLord HELL YEAH!!! >8D

  • @MaxRideWizardLord It is true. Doom never dies, but what if you're a fan of both VALVe and id? what then?

  • @Brock101011 The new valve is gay. They make an real disapoint and not-fun games that's become a gay bullshit after 1 week playing, like those left 4 fags. Also they had failed at TF2,while they make a very unbalance TF which is balance for only 6vs6 with 4 classes, not 16vs16 what stading the original with all 9 classes balance, but they make this game 9 years like they said... But classic HL, HL:BL, HL:OF never will gets bored.ID is still make Classic games from 1990 year, just better quality.

  • @KayloMaster

At least it's not selling out like some series like Final fantasy or COD they're actually spending time on there games and not going about bragging so much about graphics.

  • @TrenzorZ Think about this. ID is still partners with Activision(to my knowledge anyway). Guess who Activision is partnered up with? Blizzard. DOOM/Starcraft crossbreed anyone?

  • @TrenzorZ hell yes (lol, hell) companies like COD always brag about there graphics and how smart they are insted of the game. Don't get me wrong, for u COD guys out there its a pretty decent series of games, but u have 2 agree that grapics dun mean everything in a game. DOOM proved that theory with flyin colours. am i right, or am i right? xD

  • @KayloMaster Sucks that alot of people prefer graphics over gameplay.

While they have COD, we have Dwarf Fortress and Rouge-Likes.

  • @KayloMaster

    bethesta i believe

  • @KayloMaster IT IS A REMIX, DOOFUS!

  • thats not a remix... its taken strait from the game...

  • What sound card do i need to play doom from windows 98 with this sound quality??

  • most lightly anything as long as you dont have media player on aswell,

  • yes, i have my Dos PC already set now, PIII 800MHZ Socket 370, 256mb diamond sdram, Ati rage 8mb pci, and....SOUND BLASTER AWE 64 GOLD, its sounds GREAT!!!

  • dosbox ftw. no need for an extra pc :D

  • dosbox sound sucks compared to the real thing, dosbox cant emulate the MIDI quality of a good old Sound Canvas card, AWE64, Gravis Ultrsound, or the Roland SC-55, that's why you need an old PC for all those Dos games,

plus all new sound cards are built with Windows in mind, wavetable synth capabilities have been cut, if you want good sound under dos games, an old ISA sound card is required

  • like duke nukem :D

  • No, that's the E1M1 music. And it's not a remix so much as a tribute/rip-off.

  • Funny, I like this better than the actual Pantera song. I love midi songs.

  • Its like a classic version of Rise by Pantera

  • wow lmao

  • sounds more like Pantera to me

  • This music brings back so much memories. I remember having this game on like 15 floppy disks :)

  • all the older geeks know this was the shit these days. And sometimes they will beat the new games

    in playabillity:P

  • NEDM

  • 1933!? lulz

  • PANTERA

    est. 1933

  • ORLY?

  • WAT???? 1933

  • Honest!

They released their first album in 1933

    Under Sarcasm Records.

  • this is the best song in video game history....nuff said

  • The original doom is better than doom 2, and infact all the others.

I honestly thinnk final doom is better than doom 2 also.

  • this song is rise by pantera

  • Doom,Doom2 was not the same... doom2 got not just other levels but a lot smoother colisions and other stuff...

  • e1m1 music is legendary in games

  • this is "rise" by pantera.. their music is featured throughout the game.

  • what came first the doom music or the pantera songs?

  • pantera's album 'vulgar display of power' which the song is from, i believe was released in 1992

  • second track on here is ace game play music. that ghostly suspense! brilliant!

  • i prefer e3m1

  • My favorite song in DooM 1

  • This is my favorite score in the series. It's beautiful and intense. It definitely compliments the action of Doom

  • This still beats todays music. Doom music forever!

  • agreed

  • I consider this the true theme to doom.

  • ¿ Where to download ?
