Personally, I would take Irving seeing as how the Cavaliers don't have a playmaker. This will allow Mo to play SG and to keep Daniel Gibson on the bench. If not, it would make Boobie a great trade chip for a late 1st round draft pick. He can shoot, is quick, and can finish with both hands.
However, at times he's complacent, and dribbles the clock out without passing. I don't think that would be a problem, since Byron Scott can teach him based on his experience at PG.
In my view, another young elite point guard who'll eventually join the ranks of Paul, D Will, Westbrook, Rose, Rondo, Wall, and Jennings.

@ADAJ3 Nothing was accomplished in his 7 years of being in this franchise(other than being titled one of the best players of all time), he had to let them go. Now hes in my hometown of Miami, and hes better off here, actually winning and having a chance to go all the way.

@ADAJ3 Nothing was accomplished in his 7 years of being in this franchise(other than being titled one of the best players of all time), he had to let them go. Now hes in my hometown of Miami, and hes better off here, actually winning and having a chance to go all the way.

probably this year, but they're going to experience a decline eventually. The salary's of Mo, Varejao, and Jamison are over inflated. They won't be able to really get any superstar anytime soon. The starters are the worse in the NBA, and the bench is what's basically saving them from a horrid start. The reason being is a relatively easy start. Philly, New Jersey, Toronto, and Washington have really been the only teams they beat. Wins against Boston and Milwaukee pure luck.

And yes, management brought in solid players, mo, diesel, and antawn didn't pan out in brown's system. but i think if they get rid of diesel, use the run n' gun, and trade for a true point guard who can defend adequately like an Andre Miller, they would've won it all.
