I have mixed feelings about this song. Charice undeniably gave justice to the song. My concern is the song itself. Burke sang it last year- now w/ increasing # of YT att'n. Burke may have opted out, & Bruno handed it over to Charice. It wasn't penned for Charice. NO COLLABORATION! I like both artists, but there are better songs in Charice's Ist album (needing ad boost). "One Day," is an inspiring collaboration of 2 talented teens, NJonas & Charice w/ their struggles & dreams imprinted.

Bruno Mars and his partners the Smeezingtons have written and/or produced a lot of songs and made a lot of demos. That's what songwriters/producers do. They may or may not have a particular artist in mind for every song they compose. There's nothing wrong or unusual for the song to be shopped around to several artists. It's the nature of the business. Also, not every singer is a good songwriter, so give Charice a break. Besides, she doesn't have much power at this point in her career.

I love this song. Charice truly sings from the heart. I synced this with Alexandra's version and they were almost identical. Alexandra has a slightly huskier voice compared to Charice's smooth, silky voice but both are excellent. I really hope this song makes it to #1 for Charice. She deserves to be recognized for her amazing singing talent. Can't wait for her 2nd album to come out.
