  • me grandads fave band :) me n mr bf listen n wish we was 60's bby's..... Becky and Leeroy

  • in the paul is dead stuff paul and john are the same height here at the 3:41 mark....now go look at pictures after 1966 and you tell me...

  • Paul looks very pretty here.

  • i might get my hair cut like johns

  • the without vocals is obviously a cover because it sure as hell isnt the original.

  • I JUST LOVE IT ESPECIALLY WHEN RINGO SHOWS UP AT 3:17. THEN EVEN FUNNIER WHEN YOU THINK HE'LL BE BEATIN ON THE DRUMS AT 3:41 HAHAHA GO RINGO. IM MOVIN INTO THIS ROOM BY THE END OF THE MONTH FELLAS. THANKS FOR THIS UPLOAD. YEAH I FEEL JUST FINE.

  • omg can i have this room?

  • looks alot like my room....

  • @Live0Laugh0Twilight The Beatles live in your room? AWESOME!!!

  • @rockonhard77 you know what i mean :D almost. theres enough posters :D

  • @Live0Laugh0Twilight me two. I have 4

  • It all gets well when they sing along... magic vocals...

  • Ooooo I love John's hair, and the song is good to jaja.

  • Wiki says: "The song is notable for the use of feedback on a recording for the first time by any musician." ...i believe that would label this song as AWESOME!

  • Damn, you got the stereo LP. I could only afford the mono, $1.57 at Caldor's.

  • Oh damn it, they've done the bicycle thing as well. I guess I'll have to spit fire and weare make up, no wait, still it won't be that great. Bicycle just rules it. Case sealed.

  • Pure...Genious!!

  • The Beatles....Nothing like them...Nothing like their music!!!!

  • They are SO stoned in this vid :D

  • i love paul at 2:57 haha

  • left speaker! argh!

  • happy as can be.. you know

  • But this is definitely an outtake of the backing track as it's not the same as the backing track on the Master

  • Every Beatles fan should check this out. It is a writing about The Beatles as prophets. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read the section about The Beatles. Show this to every Beatles fan you know.

  • This is the one song I question whether Ringo played the final drum track or not. I have never seen him recreate this drum beat in concert, and even here in the alternate take, Ringo's part is very different. I know Bernard Purdie claims to have recorded on the Beatles records, which I don't believe. However, if he did record on "I Feel Fine," I wouldn't be totally surprised.

  • @LordoftheJimmy purdie was credited with some beatle work in germany when pete best was with the band,in the tony sheridan sessions.this is according to wickopedia for bernad purdie.

  • @LordoftheJimmy listen to I Feel Fine takes 2,3 then youll here the change

  • george liked messing with the lip syncing... i would too :D

  • AWESOME THE NEW Technology IS GREAT THE VOCALS, DRUMS AND THE GUITARS ARE JUST WOW. FELL IN LOVE AGAIN WITH THEM.

  • Lol, hello Ringo. 3:35

  • the drums really changed

  • i love this rendition...nice...

  • @Timeofflux "Ringo developed from a straight rock drummer into quite a musical thinker. He was always trying out different ideas." -George Martin on "I Feel Fine", Rolling Stone magazine, The Beatles 100 Greatest Songs issue

  • "Ringo developed from a straight rock drummer into quite a musical thinker. He was always trying out different ideas." -George Martin on "I Feel Fine", Rolling Stone magazine, The Beatles 100 Greatest Songs issue

  • george at 4:34 is hilarious hahahhaha

  • this song is awsome!!!

  • This is great on so many levels. John and Paul in matching black turtlenecks, the way John looks at Paul like he's just telling his buddy about his new girlfriend, george talking obviously not even trying to follow the lyrics, and Ringo trotting up to ride the bike. Oh, and a great song too

  • Hi Mr. Zhang's Class!

  • I love the way John looks at Paul while he's singing xD Not to mention Ringo and the bicycle xD

  • NICE!!!! Fantastic.

    Well done!!

    Great upload..

Sound is so loud and good!! Awesome..

    Beatles...forever!!

    Great footage!!

  • @larrysiegel The Beatles earlier covered "What I Say" on In The Beginning, the album with Tony Sheridan.

  • 3:04 george's guitar glowing!

  • OMG! LOL!! I've seen this when they're standing/sitting around eating fish and chips..LOL..but never with just Ringo riding an exercise bike. John's smile at 4:21...too cute!! He always loved to goof around when lip-synching I guess because he knew the song would always sound the same, regardless. I love The Beatles and John. Thank you for posting this. :-)

  • is this really the beatles?

  • @swilsonsww Um... yes.

  • @swilsonsww oh yes it is :D

  • 3:35 ahh ringo how we love thee!!

bit of a failed wink there but it's all good it's ringo!

  • Ringo played a mean Spin Bike!

  • Haha I love how at 3:11 Paul almost started singing at the wrong time

  • The first take features the drum part Ringo tried before the others told him to try playing the drum part from Ray Charles' "Tell Me What I Say" for this song. That's the drum part that's on the second section here and is on the final version. The feedback on the final version was edited by tape splicing to make it the length they wanted. It's neat to hear an unedited guitar feedback attempt!

  • OMG I'm twelve again! Thanks YOU!

  • excelente toma graciasssss

  • around 3:35 Ringo was too funny hahaa (:

  • I don't know what George is singing at 3:03 but it certainly isn't right! ;)

  • they loved making fun...

  • @ttlyawesome444 Hahaha maybe he did'n know they were filming and he was singing absentmindedly

  • @ttlyawesome444 watch george in the top of the pops music video ''ticket to ride'' .. hilarious, george is sooooo out of time it's like, george, stop!

    haa

and paul and george are awful in i feel fine at the live concert. both of them sing different bits into the mic. lol. love them boys

  • @ttlyawesome444 looks like boobadoobydoo

  • @ttlyawesome444 Haha I love when he says "his mic sounds like sh**" in the Revolution video! xD

  • The video looks HD.

  • If anyone understands the stationary bike, please explain.

  • @archedmandible the bike is hooked up to a generator to power the guitar amps...green energy supplied by Richard Starky....

  • 4:23 soo cute Johny :D

  • also there isnt drums when there is vocals

  • in the beging idc i would throw my self on top of john and george and kiss em like crazy

  • brill upload really liked it thanks

  • On the contrary..."I want to hold your hand" was not their first world wide hit...nor their "claim to fame"

  • Reminds me of Stevie Riks on drums.

  • love ringo's drumming

  • @91schumacher I love his snare sound

  • this is the first beatles song i liked. it's so great to hear this other version, it's so new and so familiar at the same time.

  • Always liked my Beatles in those turtlenecks! Hot hot hot.

  • First half of this vid is amazing. The visuals combined with the instrumentals are very poignant. Thank you! Loved it!

  • how to seperate the v ocals from the song and how do you take the bass guitar and drums out and keep the vocals i have audacity but i can't seperate it

  • have you got Audacity Pro (Beta 1.3)? it's free so i'd upgrade if you don't already have it. Anyway, for it to work, the song HAS TO BE MONO. Highlight the entire song and go to effect then vocal remover. click on it and it opens a box. Play aound with the settings each remove vocals, but too much and the music gets removed too. I'd recomend on the second box (it says removal choice) click the drop down box and select remove frequency band (it should be preset to Simple (entire spectrum)

  • They got five a day chummer!

  • What a great song. I think this was the first Beatles song to make number one in the US. It's fantastic! So so many just plain great songs. How did they do it.

  • i want to hold your hand was their 1st #1 in the states

  • @bkthin : 20 number 1 in usa, but between 1963 and 1970, The Beatles obtained 66 songs number 1 in the world. (an average of 8 songs number 1 per year!)

  • @chucky1856 you got that right : )

  • @cunnidvd

It's not the first US number one by the fabs.

It was I Want to Hold Your Hand.

    :)

  • if you don't know that i want to hold your hand was their first number one hit in the us, the one that made them world famous,t he one that brought them to the ed sullivan show, the one that brought them to their first us tour you should start again at the beginning with the beatles.

  • This is absolutely adorable!! I love Paul shaking his head in agreement with John as he sings!

  • Hahaha George singing into the punching bag.

  • I would have loved to be in that group. Even if they weren't musicians.

  • You're an idiot.

  • Actually I have a very high IQ.

  • Ringo's the cutest thing, just biking away :]

  • 03:00 - Paul looks at John and shakes his head! CUTE!!

    03:10 - Paaaaaul!!

  • i wish that room was mine

  • y is the first version an half step lower

  • The Beatles' engineer and producer had nearly all of their songs, once recorded, mastered at a slightly faster tape-speed in order to make their voices more youthful-sounding and bouyant.

  • that's cheating lol

  • The most diabolical song in the Beatles game (for those who have played the game, you know what I mean)

  • Haha oh my goodness at 4.23 when John does that cute little smile I laugh everytime. They really are something else. :)

  • yeah i saw that ;)

  • this is a brilliantly done youtube video, it brought back memories of what i projected in my mind about the beatles and the whole sixties thing, also just the mood is right on!!

    good job man

  • Love this

  • lol it was ringo riding it.

  • lol why one of them riding an excersize bike at one part? and major lol at 3:34

  • Hey Ringo parece Alberto Contador !!!!!

  • 3:35 <3 :D lol

  • that was pretty funny XD

  • Your a real TWIT Edhallick, you dont find this interesting!

  • They are not singing because they knew it would annoy you! And it worked didn't it! How you must feel now!

  • Edhallick,

Maybe we should find you a version with just singing and no music whatsoever!....maybe then, YOU'll feel fine!- haha

My opinion- one cannot be without the other!!

  • That was just Paul that did "Live and Let Die".

  • Yes Paul Mcartney, he would have been with his band Wings at the time.

  • George joking around at 3:05<3 i love his smile also 4:23:D:D

  • Historic

  • This video is done so well!

  • Omg Ringo at 3:35 <3333333333333333333

  • Poor Ringo, all instrument-less and whatnot. Gotta love him though!

  • look at ringo ridin the exercise bike, lol!

  • Haha, what's Paul doing at 4:05 ?

    Great video!

  • He's singing his bass part. :D

  • Ah, I see now. He looks adorable. :)

  • Yeah. :)

  • He looks queasy, probably because he was eating fish and chips in another version of the video.

  • who? paul? he looks queasy.

  • Exactly. You idiot.

  • First of all dont call me that,i wasnt a jerk to you dont be to me. And how was i suppose to know you ment paul?? there is 4 guys there.

    I LOVE THE BEATLES!!!!!!!!

  • OMG i love john's smile at 4:23

  • 3:11 look at paul laughing lol

  • the energy boost between the first takes and the master is unbelievable

  • where do you get this song without voice????

    thanks

  • This whole video is great! Very diffferent too.

  • ringo rox

  • Superb. You can really hear the guitar parts clearly. For a guitarist like me this is gold

  • thanks for posting it

  • Yeah, that's Ringo, this is an outtake, I don't know exactly what take it is, I'll try to find out. Anyway they used to change songs a lot in the recording process.

  • its ringo,, ill reconocied is him

  • kjakaskasaskj ringo xDDDDDDDDDDD

  • I love this

  • Why does Ringo pedal a bicycle?

  • Comment removed

  • Probably this is the typical 1960s way of practicing creative, silly, surreal madness. Somehow like the avengers, Steed and Peel... ;-)

  • hahaha!! That's funny... They always do that to Ringo.. In a Ticket to Ride video they ha him with an umbrella while everyone else played an instrument. Poor Ringo

  • Nicely made! I love the colour shift at the hearth. Impressive memorabilia collection, too.

  • lol ringo XD

  • 4:23 :D

  • John looks unbelievably cool here. I like when he first starts singing and looking over at Paul like one guy telling his friend about what he and his girlfriend talked about. Paul even nods like he's listening to a conversation.

The funny moments are George just talking early on, not caring a bit about the pretense of lip-syncing, then Ringo popping in to... ride a stationary bike. Gee... I wonder if they were making a point about the phoniness of lip-syncing.

  • i always love how john looked, but yes, esp here...so cool. never be another.

  • ringo runs funny :)

  • This may be take 6 or the earlier one that has the extra long feedback at start. Yep, in my video I put a slinky asian dancing girl in a bikini who was dancing outside at night--city of Tokyo in the background. Very cool, then You Tube canceled by account for something else.

  • this is very effective. hearing just the music makes us appreciate their vocals all the more. and when the 3 of them enter the picture at 3 minutes, it is so POWERFUL.

  • WOW

I really enjoy this. I remember going to a Jars of Clay concert a while back and there were 2 other bands who opened for them, during the intermissions, they played Beatle songs and this was one of them.

  • 3:35-36

Lol, Ringo. I never noticed that before

  • Haha, neither have I :D cool...

  • cool

    these guys were cool

    very cool

  • Ringo is so good that when he rides a bike it sounds like the drums

and George is hilarious at 3:04

  • I believe many would like have hung out with them - if we were old enough to be their good mates.

  • Outstanding!

  • 3:36 winking Ringo looks adorable

And Paul looks delicious. I could just eat him up. Check out that look at 3:00, Paul is perfect

  • Yep Paulie was a pretty one. A brunette Marilyn Monroe. Good thing for him he never went to prison. Wait, he did go to prison. In a book I have, he wrote that he was terrified of being raped there.

  • And he very well should have been terrified of that! Such a lil cutie that Paulie is.

I had to share a bath with a bloke who was in for murder, I was afraid to take my suit off in case I got raped. - Paul McCartney

  • great band & great song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is not final arrangement, espescially drums

  • ringo so fine

    where is come from?

    is this a tv show?

  • video come from anthology DVD. Audio come from trader files. Me like to share with others. Thanks.

  • really neat footage, thanks.

  • why not give Ringo a drum?

  • this is interesting. Neither of these backing tracks were used in the final cut. I think its so neat to hear the tiny changes chord phrasing and what not-also, the way this was mastered is quite different than what finally was issued, at least as far as separation goes.

  • LOVE the Beatles, JoSie! This is a priceless video, thank you for sharing this... I'll always love the Beatles!

    ~Carla

  • oh god john smiling at 4:23. priceless

  • absolutely priceless I agree

  • hey is good nice this video, thank you for share...

  • A good one, thanks for posting...
